Eddie's Friends

We a group of parents from Edward the Elder Primary School who organise events at the school, includ It was from this that Eddie's friends was born.

Eddie's friends is a friendly local community group ran by local moms. We are a registered charity and all money raised is put back in to local community projects. Sadly in the summer of 2016 the local school and community lost a much loved member. The loss of Ryan Hyde affected so many, The sense of local community was so overwhelming at this sad time. The group now runs activities thought the year in Ryan's memory, giving other children like Ryan a place to meet and play.

To these two amazing ladies that have been by my side through it all, I don't even know how to express how grateful I am for you both and how much you mean to me. It feels like we've been through so much together and went from strangers to friends to family. I love you both very much, thank you for always being there epically through some of my darkest days.

To my fellow Eddie's friends past and present,
THANK YOU all sooo much. I'm so proud to have been part of such an amazing team. Over the years we have donated money to the school for many things -books, trips etc....
We have brought a play house for nursery.....
We have raised money for many many charities. The two main ones being anaphylaxis and asthma UK. We've also brought a defibrillator which came with training for the school but the main thing we have donated is our time. Soooooooo once again THANK YOU for all your hard work over the years with Dab Days, summer clubs, Christmas and summer fares, craft events, Christmas plays, Christmas trees, raffles, sports day, leavers, the list goes on and on.

As Eddie's comes to an end I just want to say a massive thank you to all the staff at Edward the Elder for making us feel like part of the team Edwards family's.

Also a massive thank you to all the parents that have supported us over the years we wouldn't have been able to do the things we have without you.

And to all the children who have been or still are members of team Edwards, you are the reason we have done Eddie's for the last 9 years. We are so proud of each and everyone of you.
