The literary adventure begins for our second group of Discover Reading Project families! 📖
Mrs Rowley and Mr McAllister recently welcomed their second group of families onto the Discover Reading Project, a transatlantic partnership brought about through links with OW, Dr Stephen Hegedus, Dean of Southern Conneticut State Univeristy. The project, now in its second year, aims to reinforce the importance of reading for young children of primary school age.
The celebratory event was also a chance to say goodbye to the inaugural group of children, who have made excellent progress in their reading skills over the past year! 👏
The evening was centred around the book ‘We're going on a Ghost Walk’ and there were lots of Halloween-themed activities and a chance to meet more animals, courtesy of the Animal Man!
