🎨 We are incredibly proud of our talented Art students, who have achieved fantastic A Level results this year, with 100% of grades awarded at A*–B, including an outstanding 48% at A*.

What's more, one of our students has received official confirmation from OCR that they are one of the top-performing art students in the country. As one of the UK’s leading awarding bodies, OCR’s recognition is a remarkable achievement and a testament to our students’ hard work. We couldn’t be happier to see their talent recognised at this level!👏

Scenes of joy this morning as we celebrate our A level results! 🎉

With so many success stories, we hardly know where to start. From straight A*s for Harry, Omar, Charlie and Charlotte — to Bo, who secured a place the prestigious Manchester University studying Architecture with an A*, A and Distinction* in Cambridge Technical in IT.

We’re also celebrating students securing fantastic next steps, including two places at the highly sought-after Universities of Oxford and Cambridge, six students progressing to study medicine or dentistry, and exciting apprenticeships with Rolls-Royce and PwC.

These are just a few of the many achievements we’re celebrating today. Every one of our students has done amazingly well, and we are incredibly proud of each and every one of them.

🎉 Outstanding A-level results at Wolverhampton Grammar School! 🎉

A huge congratulations to our incredible Class of 2026, whose hard work and determination have delivered exceptional results:

🌟 72% achieved A–B grades at A-level*
⭐ 17% achieved the top A grade*
🏆 90% achieved Distinction or better in Cambridge Technicals — equivalent to at least an A grade at A-level

And the success doesn’t stop there. Our students have secured places at some of the UK’s most prestigious universities, including Cambridge, Imperial, UCL, Bristol and Manchester, while others are embarking on highly sought-after apprenticeships with organisations including Rolls-Royce and PwC.

We’re also incredibly proud of the five students progressing to medical or dentistry school, ready to begin their journeys towards careers on the frontline of the NHS. 🩺

These results are a testament not only to our students’ outstanding achievements, but also to the dedication of our teachers and the unwavering support of our families.

The final few days of our South Africa Tour finished off with a Safari at sundown and sunrise. Students enjoyed sightings of a leopard, rhinos, zebras, elephants, buffalo, wildebeest, hippos, crocodile, giraffes and many more wild animals. All this was topped off with a traditional Boma dinner and African dance show. What an incredible experience to end end an incredible trip.

Our South Africa Sports Tour have arrived in Johannesburg. They’ve enjoyed two fantastic days of Football and Netball at HydePark High School Official and Reddam House Waterfall Estate thanks for hosting WGS, everyone’s had a fantastic time and your hospitality was hugely appreciated!

Our South Africa trip enjoyed a full day sightseeing around the Cape of Good Hope, fantastic views and even better wildlife. Finishing off with a beautiful sun down in Camps Bay.

Our students played five fixtures, helped prepare food for over 500 people, and worked together to maintain the primary school playground. We were also proud to present a cheque for more than £3,500, raised through our fundraising efforts last year, which will make a real difference to local children and families. 🇿🇦❤️

Our students have had a memorable day with the local community on our South Africa tour. 🇿🇦

From the breathtaking views atop Table Mountain, to a powerful tour of Robben Island led by a former prisoner, and an inspiring visit to Langa Township where our students enjoyed coaching with the local community, an unforgettable experience both on and off the field.

A fantastic day of sport on our WGS South Africa Sports Tour! ⚽🏑🏐

Our football, netball and hockey teams enjoyed a brilliant day of competition against Curro Century City School. There was plenty of great sport, lots of fun and friendships made. Thank you to everyone at Curro Century City for your warm hospitality—we loved every minute!
