πŸ—£οΈ NO PENS DAY - YEAR 9 ONLY! ✏️❌

This week in English, our Year 9 students will be taking part in a national β€œNo Pens Day” where we put the pens down and focus on developing one of the most powerful life skills of all: oracy.
Students will take part in activities designed to build:
🎀 confidence in speaking
πŸ‘‚ active listening skills
πŸ’¬ discussion and debate
🧠 critical thinking
🀝 collaboration
At Codsall, we know that being able to communicate ideas clearly is just as important as being able to write them down. No Pens Day gives students the opportunity to find their voice, share their thinking and engage with learning in a different way.
