π£οΈ NO PENS DAY - YEAR 9 ONLY! βοΈβ
This week in English, our Year 9 students will be taking part in a national βNo Pens Dayβ where we put the pens down and focus on developing one of the most powerful life skills of all: oracy.
Students will take part in activities designed to build:
π€ confidence in speaking
π active listening skills
π¬ discussion and debate
π§ critical thinking
π€ collaboration
At Codsall, we know that being able to communicate ideas clearly is just as important as being able to write them down. No Pens Day gives students the opportunity to find their voice, share their thinking and engage with learning in a different way.
