Dear Parents/Carers and Friends of St Luke's,
16/07/2026
Children and young people across Wolverhampton are being encouraged to get ready for the biggest Yo! Active summer holiday programme so far!
Yo! Active is delivered by WV Active and Wolves Foundation and offers a wide range of free activities all year round to children and young people. There are also tailored sessions for school holidays, with this year's summer programme the biggest so far. Highlights include Taster Swimming Sessions and Family Splash and Sports, and sessions at WV Active sites and community venues across the city including Dance, Just Ramps and Nerf, plus much, much more.
Tom Warren, General Manager of Wolves Foundation, said: “We’re really looking forward to an exciting summer of Yo! Active, with a diverse and inclusive programme of activities taking place right across Wolverhampton.
"From sport and physical activity to creative and wellbeing sessions, there’s something for every young person to enjoy, stay active and connect with others in their community over the holidays.”

Good afternoon, here’s this week’s newsletter.
It’s been another busy week at St Luke’s, with staff and students continuing to give their very best (despite the heat) as we approach the end of term.
As we look ahead to next week — our final week of the 2025/26 academic year — we have a lovely mix of events to round things off.
We’ll be enjoying:
* St Luke’s Got Talent
* Raising Boys workshop,
* Sports day
and ending the week with our Year 6 Leavers Assembly and Funday Friday!
It’s a great way to finish the year together 🥳
