GCSE Results Day for Year 11 students will take place a week today (Thursday 20th August 2026), between 9am-11am. Students should enter via the main reception and proceed to Diner 1 to collect their results.

If your child is unable to attend and would like someone else to collect their results on their behalf, the nominated person must bring valid ID and a signed letter from your child confirming permission to collect the results.

The Amethyst Sixth Form Team will be around to support students who have chosen to continue their studies at Aldersley High School.

Year 11 families - we would love to see you at our GCSE Success Evening on Thursday 17th September, 4:15pm to 6:30pm.

Join us for a presentation covering your child's learning and exam route, key coursework and exam dates, and the options available to them after Aldersley. After the presentation, explore our fair with stalls covering everything from revision techniques and stress management to sixth forms, SENCO support, and more.

Attendees will also receive a free resource pack to help support their child throughout this important year.

This is a ticketed event - time slots available at 4:15pm, 5pm, and 5:45pm. Each student can request up to three tickets. Tickets must be requested before 3:30pm on Thursday 10th September.

Tour done. The PSG Academy West Midlands squad has touched down in Manchester and is on the way back to Aldersley - memories packed, experiences banked, and heads full of everything this trip has given them.

Final day on tour - and sometimes the best moments aren't the ones you planned.

With one of our students unwell, today's matches weren't able to go ahead. So we did what any PSG Academy squad would do - we made the most of it and hit the water park together. That's what this tour has been about: the football, yes, but also the bonds, the memories, and looking out for each other.

We'll see you tomorrow - ETA back at school is 3pm.

Day 3 of the PSG Academy tour and it's been a well-earned one - PortAventura water park gave our players a chance to switch off, recharge, and just enjoy being on tour together.

Now we're heading back to base, bags packed, and one eye firmly on the TV. England vs Argentina in the World Cup semi-final - no pressure lads.

Day 2 in Barcelona did not disappoint. Our students enjoyed an immersive tour of Camp Nou, the iconic home of Barcelona, taking in the trophies, memorabilia and history that left everyone blown away. The afternoon was a more relaxed affair, sightseeing and soaking up the culture of this remarkable city. Football and life experiences going hand in hand, the PSG Academy way.

Important update for our Frozen performance!

The show on Wednesday 15th July is starting 30 minutes earlier than originally planned. Doors will open at 5:00pm with the performance beginning at 5:30pm, finishing at approximately 6:45pm - so you'll be home in plenty of time for England vs Argentina in the World Cup!

We wouldn't want anyone missing that. Thank you for your flexibility - we can't wait to see you there. It's going to be a brilliant evening!
