Encourage your child to write a letter to an author.
They should bring the letter to the school library in September and we will stamp their challenge sheet and post the letter!
Don't worry, if they forgot to pick up a challenge sheet, they could complete the challenges and fill in the challenge sheet at the school library in September!

Short Story Competition Weekly Tip
Please share with the 21st Century Charles Dickens working on their 500-word masterpiece!
Stories must be handed in by Friday 18th September. This can either be in person, or email to [email protected], make sure it has ‘Short Story’ as the subject and is for the attention of ‘Mrs Birtwistle’.
