📖✨ New Standards in Dentistry Published by the College of General Dentistry ✨📖

We’re proud to announce that the College of General Dentistry (CGDent) has published the latest professional standards for the dental team.

These new standards are designed to:
⭐ Guide best practice across all areas of general dentistry
⭐ Support dental professionals in delivering safe, ethical & high-quality patient care
⭐ Provide a clear framework for excellence throughout your career

At the West Midlands Division, we’re here to help our members understand, apply, and embed these standards in everyday practice. Together, we’re raising the bar for dentistry 🦷💙.

Find out more on the CGDent website – and stay tuned for upcoming events where we’ll explore what these standards mean for you.

‼️ About the FGDP transfer to CGDent‼️

Since its inception in 1992 as a Faculty at the Royal College of Surgeons of England, the FGDP(UK) has always harboured an ambition to become an independent college. The new College of General Dentistry will provide a clearer identity, agility in its business, and stronger focus in its work for members. The vision of the new College is that it will fulfil the aspirations and enhance the professional standing of general dentistry to achieve parity with other and equivalent health care and medical professions.
