Another fantastic session today as TLC welcomed Anna, Involvement Specialist at the Black Country Integrated Care Board (ICB), to complete a brilliant series of workshops with the Fertility Services Reference Group.

The group had truly settled into a natural rhythm, open conversations, shared experiences, and a genuine spirit of collaboration.
We sincerely hope that the lived experiences and collective knowledge shared through this group will help shape an inclusive, effective, and patient‑centred fertility service for Wolverhampton and the wider Black Country.

We were thrilled to welcome a police officer to to deliver an important safety talk to our ESOL learners. It was an excellent session, providing valuable guidance and tips to help our learners stay safe in their communities.

A big thank you to the lovely Wolverhampton Homes Staff who visited TLC College last week. Our ESOL learners really appreciated all the information, advice and guidance with regards to anti-social behaviour, fire safety and repairs. Our workshop is part of the Wolverhampton Council's Shared Prosperity Fund Project that has focus on community safety and health issues. TLC College proudly joined our ESOL learners in commemorating VE Day — a moment to reflect on the importance of peace, unity, and mutual understanding.

Our learners brought diverse stories, cultures and voices to the celebration, showing that while we may come from different backgrounds, we share one powerful vision: a peaceful and inclusive future for all.

We are grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with Mina Foundation in supporting families across Wolverhampton with essential baby packs. These packs will be provided to new and expecting mothers in need.

TLC College will be held the "Online Jobsearch Open Day" as part of the Get Online Week activities. The event will take place on Tuesday 15th October 2024 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at TLC College, Dunstall Heights, 1 Dunstall Road, Wolverhampton, WV6 0LZ.
This event will consist of a series of sessions available at TLC College, such as employability advice, getting connectivity, computer classes, getting online workshops and sessions designed to introduce attendees to key digital concepts and tools.
