Dot Tots Day Nursery

Yesterday the children had the opportunity to hold Mini Beasts, Snakes, Lizards, a Skunk, African Pygmy Hedgehog and an owl. Thanks to a visit from the animal man and team.

What did the children learn?

• Understanding the World – living things, habitats, and the natural environment

• Observing similarities and differences in living organisms

• Developing curiosity and questioning about the natural world

We hope the children came home full of chatter and excitement about their visit.

Lisa, we’re so very lucky to have you! Your hard work and dedication for the last two decades has helped to shape the foundations of Dot Tots, and for that we’re very thankful 😊

What a wonderfully productive training day, we’ve had! Well done to our incredible team, for their full commitment and participation today. We can’t wait to put everything we’ve discussed and learned today into practice 👌🏻👌🏻

❄️We have had to take the decision to close the nursery due to adverse weather conditions. This is to ensure the safety of both children, parents and staff when travelling both to and from nursery.
We appreciate that this is not an ideal situation but we hope you understand and support us in this.❄️

Last week, The children visited Christ Church! They decorated their own tree with hand made items and listened to a wonderful story told by the vicar 🎄

We’re proud of our staff for the job they do, everyday, but one day/week a year we get to really SHOUT about it.

So we’d like to say ‘Thank you’, to our amazing team, you spend everyday keeping our small humans happy in a safe and welcoming environment, and ensure that no matter what kind of day ‘your’ having, you put Dot Tots children first.
