We know how difficult it can be to constantly afford new school uniforms, so we're doing all we can with our partners to help.

On Friday St Columba's United Reform Church is holding the first of its uniform swap shops, why not drop by and take a look? All details below.

And we're also providing financial help with Wolverhampton City Credit Union and encouraging children to save at the same time.

For the third year running, children opening an account with the credit union will have their savings matched pound for pound to a maximum of £75 to purchase school uniform.

Funded by the Government’s Crisis and Resilience Fund, the scheme is aimed at helping children start good financial habits at a young age, while also supporting parents with the cost of uniform, which can be a real worry especially after the expense of the summer holidays.
