Happy Islamic New Year to all who are observing! The Chaplaincy Team wishes you all a wonderful year ahead. 🌻

We had a wonderful time celebrating Eid Ul Adha at our event on City Campus last week! 🌙

We ran some fun craft workshops (including plant pot painting, bookmark decorating and Arabic calligraphy) and arranged for some delicious samosas, paneer wraps, doughnuts and chai for everyone to enjoy. 🎨🍩

It was great to see everyone getting creative, sharing food and celebrating together. Thank you to all the students and staff who attended! 😊

🎨 School of Art Degree Show Opening Night: A great opportunity to enjoy art created by our students in good company. Meet Chaplain Sarah and Ayush on Friday 5th June at 5.15pm on the ground floor of the George Wallis building. Email [email protected] to attend.

🌈 Wolverhampton Pride: The city's annual Pride celebration is taking place this Saturday 6th June. The university will be represented at Pride and Chaplain Sarah will be in attendance. If you would like to attend either as an observer or to join the parade, email [email protected]

🖌️ Eid Celebrations and Craft Workshops: Come along to the Students' Union (City Campus) on Monday 8th June for some delicious free food, and get creative with some fun crafts celebrating Eid! 🍰 Cake Baking for Kitchen Dedication: Help Chaplain Sarah bake cakes for our official Kitchen Dedication event! We'll be baking away on Tuesday 9th June from 1:30pm - 4:45pm at the Chaplaincy (MP Building). Come and lend a hand, improve your baking skills, and meet new people! 🍲 Chaplaincy Kitchen Dedication with the Vice Chancellor: We will be celebrating our wonderful new Chaplaincy kitchen on Wednesday 10th June, 11:30pm - 12:30pm. There will be short reflections on food and hospitality in different faiths and worldviews, and vegetarian food (and cakes!) will be served. Staff, students and friends of the Chaplaincy are welcome! Belated Eid Mubarak to everyone who celebrated! 🌙

We had such a lovely time marking Eid-Ul-Adha at the Chaplaincy with a special Global Lunch of delicious vegetable biryani and gulab jamun in collaboration with students from the Pakistan Society 💚

We then packed up more veg biryani and baklava to share at the Global Gathering with our wonderful students, staff, and their families. 🌍

Thank you to everyone who joined in and helped make the celebrations so special!
