Testing rules for people without Covid-19 symptoms are changing temporarily ā meaning that, from today, you don't need to get a confirmatory PCR test if you record a positive result from a rapid (LFD) test.
You must still report the result via https://orlo.uk/7PPEd and self-isolate immediately. You will be able to leave self-isolation seven days after the date of your initial positive test if you receive two negative rapid test results, 24 hours apart, on days six and seven.
If you have symptoms of Covid-19, you must self-isolate immediately and book a PCR test online at https://orlo.uk/sGCaW or by calling 119.
Please note that due to unprecedented demand nationally, home rapid Covid-19 test kits are currently limited to one box per person, so please instead consider ordering home test kits online via www.gov.uk/order-coronavirus-rapid-lateral-flow-tests. The process is quick and easy and you will receive a box of seven tests, delivered via Royal Mail, in as little as 24 hours.
