On Monday Sarah Nicholas visited us and talked about her life as a professional athlete whilst also working for our police force. All the children worked with Sarah throughout the morning and she thanked the children for raising sponsor money to support her continued journey to play the highest level of Rugby.

We’ve had a fantastic week celebrating our sports days as part of National School Sports Week. The sun has shone and children have been competitive throughout all the different events, gaining points for their house teams. KS1 Sports Day is today between 09:30 and 11:00. Only the main gate playground gate (Newman Avenue) will be open for parents to come in. Please ensure you are on time as gates will only be open from 09:20 until 09:30. Gates will remain closed during the event and opened when it has finished.

Summer Fair

We are holding a book fair in our school hall on Tuesday 11th and Wednesday 12th June between 3pm and 4pm.

All parents are welcome to come along and look at the books on offer and purchase on the day. All purchases will go towards school being able to obtain free books for our library.

Cash is not needed as payments can all be made via QR codes so please bring your phone. You will be able to take books on the day as long as there are stocks available - if not then the books will ordered and brought to your child's class within a few days of the fair being held.

Please see attached leaflets showing some of the titles that will be available.
