We learnt all about how the centre use recycling to make electricity .
We loved looking at the giant claw and using the VR headset.

Huge congratulations to Mrs Potter and Miss Freeman on receiving their long service awards today - Between them a total of 60 years service at Westcroft.

Mr Rob Turton, Chair of CLPT Board of Directors and Ms Georgetta Holloway CEO came to present them with the long service awards.

Thank you both for your hard work over the years!

Silver DofE Update – Day 2 Complete ✅
We’ve had a brilliant day walking by the canal, taking in some beautiful nature along the way. Spirits have remained high throughout the day and the group have done amazingly well again.

We’re all looking forward to an early night and heading home tomorrow.

Well done everyone, you have walked so well!

PMR had a Marvelous Monday! They spent their morning in ASDA, having breakfast in the cafe where they all sat lovely to eat their meal together using cutlery. They enjoy communicating with the staff in ASDA, saying and signing hello and goodbye. The lovely lady who was working on the till let some of the children have a turn behind the till, scanning some shopping. We purchased some flowers to give out to staff around school in the afternoon with some cards that the children made when performing acts of kindness.

Silver DofE Update – Day 1 Complete ✅

Our Silver Sixth Form group have arrived safely at the campsite after their first Duke of Edinburgh walk.

The weather has been fantastic and the students have worked really hard, they should be very proud of themselves!
