Eid Mubarak to all of our students, families and members of our community who are celebrating Eid al-Adha.
We hope you are able to spend this special time with those you love, and that it brings joy, reflection and togetherness for all who are marking the occasion.

This Sunday, Christians around the world celebrate Pentecost, marking the gift of the Holy Spirit to the disciples and the birth of the Church.
As a Church of England academy, Pentecost is a meaningful moment in our calendar. It's a time to reflect on the values that sit at the heart of our community: compassion, togetherness, and the courage to go out into the world and make a difference.
Wishing all of those in our community who are celebrating a very happy Pentecost. We hope everyone enjoys a restful half-term break.

A couple of weeks ago, some of our students headed out on their Duke of Edinburgh Practice Expedition, and we could not be prouder to be one of the few schools in the country to offer the full D of E programme, all the way up to the Gold Award.
Speaking of Gold, this week Mr Walker had the honour of attending a celebration at Buckingham Palace as part of the D of E Gold Award ceremony. What an experience, and a wonderful reminder of just how far this programme can take our students.
Closer to home, our Sixth Form geography students have also been out in the field recently, heading to the coast to carry out practical beach fieldwork, measuring and recording pebble data as part of their studies. It's a great example of why practical experience is just as important as what happens in the classroom.
At St Peter's, we are proud to offer our students experiences that go far beyond the classroom, and long may that continue.

Just over a week ago, we were delighted to welcome Rev Canon Jeremy Dussek, the new rector of St Peter's Collegiate Church, to the academy for the very first time.
Joined by Simon Bennett from our Academy Committee and Dr Ian Terry from the St Regis Academy Committee, Rev Canon Dussek had the opportunity to tour our site, meet members of staff and see our facilities first-hand.
It was a really positive visit, with some wonderful conversations about how we can build an even closer working relationship with St Peter's Church going forward, including exciting opportunities around music, faith and helping our students to thrive.
We look forward to welcoming Rev Canon Dussek back and to everything this partnership can bring for our school community.

Earlier this year, St Peter's welcomed more than 110 Year 5 students from St Benedict Biscop C.E Primary School and Uplands Primary School for an incredible Samba music project led by our very own Mr Peacock.
Running from January to March, the project gave students a brilliant taste of secondary school life, performing on authentic instruments, learning to work together as an ensemble, and even getting to perform alongside our Academy Big Band. What a way to make an entrance!
We are so proud of everything that Mr Peacock and the students made possible this year, and we are delighted that the workshops will return to our feeder primary schools in January 2027.
If you are a local primary school and would like to find out more about bringing a music workshop to St Peter's next year, please feel free to contact Mr Peacock at [email protected]. We would love to hear from you.

Historic moment for the Three Spires Sixth Rugby Academy 🏉
We are incredibly proud to celebrate Elefio, who has become the first player from our academy to sign a professional contract with Coventry Rugby.
This achievement is a testament to Elefio’s talent, resilience and hard work, as well as the ambition and environment we are building at Three Spires Sixth Form.
Executive Principal Ed Parry said:
“Elefio has been an exemplary role model throughout his time with us, and we have no doubt he will continue to thrive in the professional game.”
Matthew Jones, Academy Manager at Coventry Rugby said:
"Elefio's progression has been supported by the outstanding educational provision within Three Spires Trust and the access created through the school’s structured rugby timetable, which has enabled the academy to work closely with Efelo and maximise his development potential within a high-performance environment."
Congratulations, Elefio — we cannot wait to follow your journey and see what comes next! 👏

We are so proud of Veer P, who has recently celebrated not one but two fantastic writing achievements.
Veer secured 2nd place in The Anansi Archive Writing Awards 2026, a prestigious UK-based creative writing competition for emerging writers. A brilliant accomplishment in its own right.
But that's not all. Veer's poem, entered for the Never Such Innocence poetry competition on the theme of 'In Someone Else's Shoes', has also been shortlisted. This is a global competition, which makes this achievement even more remarkable.
We are incredibly proud of you, Veer. Keep writing.

Earlier this term, our Year 7 and Year 8 students took part in a famous scientist poster competition to mark National Science Week, and the standard of entries was really impressive.
A huge well done to all of the students who put their time and creativity into their posters. Miss Kainth was delighted with every single entry.
Our Year 7 winner was Vanessa N, whose poster on Charles Darwin stood out from the crowd. Congratulations also to our Year 7 runners up, Angel B, Ivy P and Raveena D, who created brilliant posters on Albert Einstein and Charles Darwin respectively.
In Year 8, Gabriela P took the top spot with a fantastic poster on Dmitri Mendeleev, with Zia M a well-deserved runner up for her excellent poster on Robert Bunsen.
Well done to everyone involved. We love seeing our students' creativity shine.
