Thankyou to Mrs Cooper and her wonderful family who have supported our PTFA for many years. With all her grandchildren now leaving Perton Academy, Mrs Cooper deserves a rest. Mrs Cooper you will be missed and we cannot express our gratitude for your hard work and commitment to our school. Thankyou!

On a personal note, Chef B (the guy on the BBQ) and I have really enjoyed being part of the PTFA over the last few years. It’s a fantastic group who appreciate whatever small contribution you can make. For a full time worker, like myself and many of you, being the social media pixie has been the perfect role. So, how ever much time you can give, I really recommend helping out, there is a role for everyone - get in touch or just turn up to a meeting. I’ll miss creating the pictures, posters and posts but I know you are in safe hands with the team continuing the socials.

Father’s Day events
Next week Dads, Grandads or another special person is coming to school to play games at 2.30.

Can we request that they bring a packet of breakfast cereal for an activity. These will be donated to Perton foodbank at the end of the week.

We are thrilled with our new gated fence, sectioning off our forest school area which is currently in the process of improvement 😍

Thankyou for having us Perton Middle School. It was a lovely event, our children enjoyed meeting Steve Antony 📖

This morning, we had the honour of hosting a children's author event for Key Stage 1 students in the local area.

350 students from across 8 different schools attended an interactive event with Steve Antony who shared his new book 'Super Mr Panda' as well as teaching the children to draw a panda.

Lots of children had their new books signed personally by the author too. A fantastic morning was had by all, and we look forward to hosting similar events in the future!
