2 weeks of isolation and he couldn't way to get back in this morning.
Well, it's the end of an era.

Jude started Little Oaks when he was 10months old and yesterday was his last day.
To say it's emotional is an understatement.

This nursery holds a special place in my heart. From the moment I had my walk around, I had a very strong feeling that I was choosing the right setting for my baby.

He has come on leaps and bounds and formed such strong bonds with other children and especially the staff.

Jude was the little golden boy, they all adored him and he did them. He's going to miss you all so much.

I can't begin to thank you all enough for the love, care & nurturing of my little man. Thank you for treating him as one of your own. We're so ready for our next adventure.

Mighty Oaks from little Acorns grow.
Thank you for all your hard work, Lola-Louise has grown into a pleasant young lady thanks to all the hard work and support from the staff, you all do an amazing job, Lola will miss you all so much 🥰

Yesterday for pancake day the children enjoyed ‘making’ their own pancakes. For pudding at lunch time Suzanne out nursery chef made us some pancakes which we enjoyed with fruit and yogurt.

One of children at nursery is Romanian. Yesterday he bought gifts in for all of the girls in his room as part of a Romanian tradition : it is called Martisor (a sort of diminutive for Martie, the Romanian word for March), and they celebrate it with snowdrops, traditional gifts, plenty of joy, and dinners downtown. It is a bustling, but very special time of the year, when every city, town, and village in the country is brought to life by heaps of colorful stalls selling the so-called Martisoare. Traditional the Romanian men give gifts to the woman of their town. We love learning about our childrens heritages and also sharing it with the other children so they about each other and value each other

We are currently having lots of enquiries for spaces so thought a post with our current availability would be useful.

Babies - we currently have very limited availability. Currently we only have a Tuesday and Friday afternoon available until September. From September we have 1 space available Tuesday to Friday and then from November we have 1 full time space available. We are taking booking for 2023 and would advise that you book your baby space in advance as they do go very quickly.

Pre Toddlers - we have full time spaces available from February.

Toddlers - No full time spaces available. Could offer three full days. Afternoons are quieter.

Preschool - No full time spaces available until September but could accommodate 4 full days.

If you require any further information or would like to book a show around please call us on 01902 781245.

Children at both of our nurseries have been celebrating Diwali this week. We have loved hearing about how the children are celebrating Diwali at home and even seeing photos added by the parents on our new blossom app. For one of our activities the children had a go at making their own diva lamps 🪔

It’s been a busy week at both nurseries this week. On Tuesday staff offered parents a hot drink to go along with a muffin or a flapjack on the morning drop off. This is something we are aiming to do once a term and will hopefully make our parents early morning starts a little brighter ✨

Say hi to Priya 👋 Priya has joined baby room at our Wolverhampton setting and has had an amazing first week ! We’ve had lots of positive feedback from parents and staff but most importantly the children have definitely started to build lovely bonds with Priya !! 💜

Meet Jo. Jo is our Provision Manager here at our Penn setting. Jo has been at Penn since the start and before that worked at our Wolverhampton setting. Jo is passionate about her job and goes above and beyond to make sure that the children who attend the nursery have a lovely environment to play and learn in. One of our biggest challenges at our Penn setting is getting the message out that we are not linked to Penn Kids in any possible way. Penn Kids closed last year and we took on the building, decorated and furnished the rooms to match our ethos and values and then opened in January this year. We are still awaiting our Ofsted inspection which is normal for new settings. If you are interested in our Penn setting but you are worried about this please take a look at our Ofsted report from our Wolverhampton setting as this will give you an idea of how we do things at Little Oaks 💜 Also please feel free to organise a show round so that you can meet the staff and see the setting for yourself.

Our Penn setting gained these two little cuties today ! They haven’t got any names yet but we are going to ask the children what they think they should be called and then we will do a poll on our story so keep your eyes peeled !!!
