Sharing our learning adventure with maz's little owls, our adventure today was how nature is changing and growing. We found little acorns that well revisit when bigger, lots of leaves, flowers and even found a butterfly. We listened to the birds and talked back to them. Played pooh sticks and collected a bag full for home exploring. Watched a big yellow digger, met Bella the beagle a little pup on a walk and found squishy berries.
Curiosity when singing about bananas bananas using phonics so made banana sandwiches
My zips are regularly undone but always followed by a pillow fight, neils shoes are rarely found together, big boxes are fun as they took us to the jungle for an animal party.
Just a few of our colours today. This week we've mixed colours while painting leaves and flowers, read Elmer, made a wand and sang colour songs by the plenty. We've coloured each others faces and worn bright clothes. We counted the colours in the rainbow and drawn them for our window. We discoveredhow colourful our food is too especiallyvegetables which we like.
Learning about the seasons by looking at changing leaves. Sizes, shapes and colours, types and textures.
We are looking at us and our uniqueness. Our mini me dolls are joining in to as we learn about us and the world around us. A big journey together.
Our sunflowers have amazing roots, we're comparing to the roots on our beans and how they're different. World's ocean day, we rescued the sea animals from the tangled plastic and made a flappy fish fir the playroom. When planting the flowers we chose when shopping the bench planter was broken. Neil had 2 assisting to fix it, before planting up. They chose begonias and polyanthus, then added strawberry plants because we can eat them later. Real fixing with the nails and wood and passing real tools and screws. Then of course a bbq as we were hungry
Had fun making hobby horses to ride, crowns to be kings and Queens muffins to celebrate jubilee. All left with flags, balloons and medals after our tea party with mazNicholls and little ones

We've had lots of fun learning about planting seeds and waiting for them to grow. Now we can see the seeds shooting to make wild flowers for the bees. We've watched the bees visit the yellow poppies in our garden and made a bee hive with knitted bees to assist our learning.
We've had to care for puppies, being very gentle.
Summers coming and we have been learning foods that are healthy and being safe.
We have learnt about towns and transport, taking turns on the trains and people who use the trains, why we use the train and types of trains.
Fine motor skills has kept us busy building these skills.
The dinosaurs were really cool and feeding the animals.

Colour play and exploration, using positioning of the table as a base. Now we have to keep adding underneath for them to find.
Elmer was a colourful topic and fun being elephants.
Space week being astronauts after painting rockets, being aliens and space in a bottle. Our own astronaut and his rocket will fly.
Autumn is our new season, changing colours, weather and textures. Using ripping to make our scarecrows, looking at hibernation, cooking food with harvest vegs and of course 🍃 leaves.
Today we made lentil Dahl and chapatis we cooked the chapatis on a Tava and made the lentil Dahl making a Torka 1st with onions ginger chili's and garlic and a few spices
Been national hygiene week so we've looked at our teeth and keeping them clean. Even the toys and the dogs had their teeth checked. Investigated healthy diets and germy hands.
Supported the footy with some decorations too. On our walk we looked at how to keep safe and after playing washing our hands.
