This Volunteers’ Week, we’re celebrating Chichetam and the creativity, dedication and enthusiasm he brought to the Artists Futures placement and Global Gathering.

Chichetam first joined us as an international master’s student through Artists Futures, where his proactive approach and commitment to developing his career quickly stood out. He was later invited to facilitate the art stations at Global Gathering, where he supported the activities brilliantly and helped create a welcoming creative space for everyone involved. His work is a reminder that creativity can bring people together in powerful ways.

Thank you, Chichetam, for using your time, patience and artistic skills to support others and make a difference.

Pride 2026 in Wolverhampton is a chance to celebrate identity, visibility and community. 🌈

At WLV Careers, we want our LGBTQIA+ students and staff to know that they are supported, respected and welcome. Whether you are thinking about your career, looking for opportunities or want guidance around confidence in the workplace, we are here to help.

Almost 40% of LGBTQ+ employees still feel the need to hide their identity at work. That is why safe spaces, inclusive careers support and representation matter.

At the Careers Hub, you are safe to be who you are with us.

This Volunteers’ Week, we’re celebrating Anthony and the time, creativity and support he gives to the University of Wolverhampton community.

Anthony is often seen supporting Students’ Union events, staff activities and student society gatherings across campus. Through his photography, he helps capture the moments that make university life special, from large events to smaller student-led activities.

Rather than charging students, staff or societies for his work, Anthony shares his photography skills freely, helping make high-quality memories accessible to everyone. His contribution shows how volunteering can take many forms and make a lasting difference.

Thank you, Anthony, for helping capture university life and for supporting our students.

Ever thought about volunteering yourself? Drop into the Careers Hub, MD083, Ambika Paul Building, City Campus to find out more, or register on Target Connect to book an appointment with a Careers Advisor via the link in our bio.
