Today, we took inspiration from nature to create beautiful, decorative bookmarks for everyone to take home.

It was wonderful to see families making the most of their passes once again, as well as welcoming lots of new visitors to Kingswood Trust.

Looking for something fun to do with the family this August? Come and enjoy the great outdoors with us at Kingswood Trust.
This Saturday, 15th August - As well as enjoying our woodlands, playing outdoors and finding ways to stay cool, we’ll be getting creative and making bookmarks for your summer holiday reading.
🌳 Nature Connections is open to everyone, with activities suitable for all ages. If you’re aged 65+ and coming with a carer, you can join us on Saturdays and Tuesdays completely FREE of charge.
Calling all Superheroes…
On Monday 17th August at 10am, come along in your favourite superhero fancy dress and join us for a morning of family fun, adventure and outdoor activities!
Family tickets are just £12, including parking.
And if you can’t make it on the 17th, don’t worry, there are plenty more events happening throughout August! 🎉

Calling all aged Superheroes...it's just 1 week until you can try out your super powers and explore Kingswood Trusts amazing outdoor spaces. Visit us on Monday 17th August at 10am. 🌳 Saturday 1st August – Family Forest Fun!
Join us at Kingswood Trust for a morning of outdoor play, woodland adventures, and fun ways to keep cool.
10:00am – 1:00pm
Come and explore our beautiful woodlands and enjoy activities including:
Pond dipping
Soft archery
Giant Connect Four
Plus some of your favourite outdoor games and activities.

Throughout August on Saturdays we're also running our Nature Connections project for people aged 65+ and their carers. Drop in for a cuppa and cake, enjoy a gentle woodland walk, or simply relax and chat with our friendly volunteers.

We've enjoyed a wonderful weekend of camping to kick off the summer holidays, and there's plenty more to look forward to at Kingswood Trust over the coming weeks.

29–31 July | Bushcraft Summer Holiday Club (Ages 5–12)
8:30am–3:30pm | £35 per child, per day
Children will build a base camp, learn woodland survival skills, try green woodworking and outdoorcooking, and enjoy a full day of outdoor adventure. (Please bring a packed lunch.)

10am - 1.00pm £8 per car and free for Nature Connections visitors (Ages over 65 + carer)

17 August | Superheroes Day
10:00am–1:00pm | £12 per car
Come dressed as your favourite superhero and enjoy our themed trail, fun activities and physical challenges for all the family.

19–21 August | Schools Out Summer Holiday Club(Ages 5–12)
8:30am–3:30pm | £35 per child, per day
Every day is different, with Forest School, archery, animal encounters, team games and plenty of summer fun. (Packed lunch required.)

24 August | Monkey Puzzle Fun
10:00am–1:00pm | £12 per car
Follow Little Monkey on a woodland adventure inspired by the much-loved Julia Donaldson story as you journey through the trees to help find Mum.

🎶 5 September | CODFEST Music Festival
12:00pm–11:00pm
Join us for a fantastic day of live music raising funds for Kingswood Trust and local charities, featuring some of the best bands by miles. Tickets are available through the organisers or at Kingswood Trust. For more information, visit the Codfest page or ask at Woody's Snack Stop on Saturday mornings.

Our visitors enjoyed a morning exploring the very hungry caterpillar trail and activities 🐛🍃☀️as well as keeping cool in the woodland on the adventure areas!
