Fantastic work from Art and Design student Callum Wilkinson, who created a life-size bird sculpture as part of his final project titled "Work on Microworlds".

We're really proud of his creativity, skill, attention to detail.

Well done, Callum! 👏

Today, we welcomed former students and special guests to our Further Education Big Lunch at our City Learning Quarter Campus.

It was a pleasure to welcome Mark Heywood, Deputy Lieutenant of the West Midlands, as we came together to celebrate 25 years of City of Wolverhampton College and the impact we've made in our community over the past quarter of a century.

Guests also heard from two former students, who shared their experiences and reflected on how the college helped shape their journeys.

The event formed part of The Big Lunch – the UK's annual celebration of community, connection and togetherness – and also marked the launch of our new Alumni Network, helping former students stay connected with the college and each other.

Automotive staff and students recently took part in a charity football tournament in support of Ben - Support for Life, held at West Bromwich Albion's Hawthorns stadium.

For many of our learners, the highlight of the day was the opportunity to play on the pitch itself an experience they won't forget in a hurry.

It was a fantastic day for everyone involved and a great way to support a worthwhile cause. A big thank you to Mark Field, Chief Executive of the Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation (IAAF) for inviting us.
