Our Automotive students are currently rebuilding a FN2 Honda Civic with the end goal of taking it to a race track!

Paul Mangan, a lecturer with us came across a man submerged in the canal while cycling home from work. Paul saved a man from an icy canal and wants to know how he is.

A big thank you to Valspar UK & Ireland who visited our Painting and Decorating students last week to share their expertise and knowledge on their latest paint products! 😀

Our students had a blast learning and interacting with the Valspar team! It was a great opportunity for our students to expand their understanding of painting and decorating tools!


Thank you to Lord Hunt of Kings Heath, for taking the time to visit us today.

Lord Hunt delivered a talk to our A Level students on the role of the House in parliament, how the chamber works, select committees and the House of Lords reform.


A great time was had at the Wolverhampton Wanderers Foundation training ground yesterday! ⚽

Our BTEC Football Academy and Generic pathways students took part in a referee workshop delivered by the Premier League and players from Wolves U18s.



A-level students will be finding out about the role of the House of Lords during a visit by Lord Hunt of Kings Heath to the Paget Road campus tomorrow.

Congratulations to Cherelle on her success in the Prince's Trust Wolvcoll Programme at Bilston Methodist Church! Cherelle has been gaining valuable work experience as a Graphic Designer at Digital Imaging Services.

The Prince's Trust has helped Cherelle build her confidence, make new friends, and give back to her community through fundraising projects!


Lydia wants to be a teaching assistant and, as a first step to achieving her dream she completed Level 1 Functional Skills in English and maths, as well completing a Yes to the Job course to improve her personal and employability skills.

Lydia, aged 43, said: “I know that the courses will help me to achieve what I want to do in the future and I now want to progress to Level 2 English and maths.

“No matter how long it takes me to achieve what I want, I will not give up until I have reached my goal.”


19-year-old Joshua Cleary has successfully completed the Computing/IT Level 1 and 2 diplomas and is now in the second year of the Level 3 diploma!

Joshua said: "Since starting college I have gained lots of confidence in myself and feel a lot prouder of my work!"

WCR FM kept everyone entertained and even interviewed some of our tutors about some of the courses we have to offer.


We are thrilled to announce our brand new reflective space for our students at our Paget Road Campus! 😀

This dedicated area is designed to provide a moment of calm and tranquility for anyone who needs a time out, break, or a chance to relax!

We will be working with Saltley Trust to develop this further and introduce this space at our Wellington Road Campus in the near future.

It's . Today we're throwing back to an awesome day when some of our apprentices took part in a Health & Safety event hosted by their employer, Midwest Mechanical and Electrical Services.

They delved into important topics like Asbestos Awareness and Fire Extinguisher use and rounded off the day with hands-on team building exercises led by Christopher, our Employment Skills Sector Trainer.
