Passionate about supporting students in schools? Our Preparing to Work in Schools Level 1 Award is a 12-week part-time course perfect for aspiring support workers or teaching assistants.

What You’ll Learn:
• The teaching and learning environment
• Supporting the wellbeing and development of children and young people
• Assisting mature students, learners with special needs, and those with English as an additional language
• Plus, boost your English and maths skills!

Ideal For:
• Gaining skills and knowledge for school placements
• Preparing for a Level 2 course starting in September

It was great to welcome Warinder Juss for Wolverhampton West, to our college today!

Warinder met with our Principal and CEO, Louise Fall, as well as Assistant Principals Michael Dixon and Lynn Parker.

The day included a tour of our facilities and a visit to our brand-new Advanced Technology and Automotive Centre. He also met staff and students from across the college to discuss what life is like studying with us.

Before the festive break, Max Ward visited our New Era salon to get his hair cut, raising funds in support of The Little Princess Trust.

Over the holidays, he traveled to Hereford to personally deliver his donated hair.

The Little Princess Trust provides real-hair wigs free of charge to children and young people who have lost their hair due to cancer treatment or conditions such as alopecia.

We were delighted to welcome Jade Masih, Project Engineer at SLC Rail, to our Future Foundation Railway Project.

It was inspiring to see her skills in action as she reviewed our progress and shared valuable advice to improve our 3D models.

Our students working on the railway project really appreciated her insights and the chance to learn from her experience!

We gave our Food Hub at the Wellington Road campus a complete refurb. We added brand-new seating, flooring, and all new front-of-house! 😊
