The theme for our soapbox kart has been revealed: it's Back to the Future... or shall we say, Back to Defining Futures!
Our automotive and engineering tutors have combined their DIY, automotive, and engineering skills to create a kart that will proudly race at this Monday's Krazy Races in Wolverhampton, Queen Square. If you're in the area, be sure to come along and cheer us on!

Today we're having a GCSE takeover day, celebrating the achievements from our students from results day. First up, we have Kane Coffin, who achieved a 5 in English. Kane is passionate about encouraging people to take up sport, and has his ambitions set on encouraging more people to get fit!

Marc, who got a 9 in English and a 5 in Maths, is off to pursue a career as a radiographer. After failing his GCSEs aged 16, his wife encouraged him to go back to college because of his interest in science, now he's able to fulfil the future he always wanted!

Nathan achieved a 7 in English and a 5 in maths which he was very pleased with! Nathan owned a successful scaffolding business before one day waking up and losing his sight. He is now off to follow his ambitions to become a medical doctor in genetics to find a cure for blindness. We're so proud of you Nathan!

Angela, aged 60, proved it's never too late to learn by achieving an 8 in GCSE maths, which she studied to be able to support her daughter who is currently doing her own GCSE in maths!

During the half term, Wolves Foundation runs sports, physical activity, healthy eating, enrichment, and fun games for young people in the community. The camps aim to encourage a happy and healthy lifestyle. 😀

Celebrating South Asian Heritage Month!
Maninder, our work experience placement officer, represented the college at the closing event for South Asian Heritage Month, hosted by the Right Worshipful Mayor of the City of Wolverhampton, Councillor Dr Michael Hardacre.
The event featured several South Asian guest speakers, poets, and performers sharing their stories. It aimed to commemorate, mark, and celebrate South Asian culture!
