With more than 600 qualifications and a wide range of full-time and part-time courses on offer, three campuses across the city, specialist training academies in Telford and Worcester, a well-established Apprenticeship scheme, and new facilities opening all the time, studying here will equip you with the skills you need to succeed in the future. All of our courses lead to a qualification which will help you on to the next stage of your life - whether that's improving your job prospects, increasing your personal skills or building your self confidence. Our students don’t just learn in a classroom but have the chance to work with real customers in our state-of-the art hair and beauty salons, bakery, restaurant and travel agency. And that’s not to mention our video production company, recording studio impressive construction centre and state-of-the art engineering and motor vehicle workshops.

Bake-off mode: ON 🍰

Today, our Bakery students put their skills to the test in a special Fairtrade bake-off, creating a delicious range of treats for our expert judges.

We were joined by Julia Farrell, Chair of Wolverhampton Fairtrade, who spoke about why Fairtrade matters and the role young people can play as ethical consumers of the future.

Big thanks to our judges and guests: Caty Jones from K-Teas Cakes, Paul Birch from Revolver Music, Councillor Sally Green and Assistant Principal Richard Hewitt.

Congratulations to Kevin Richardson and Gail Kuppan on completing our AI Accelerator programme.

The programme explores practical uses of AI, moving beyond image generation and chatbots to develop solutions to real-world challenges.

Kevin created West Midlands ATLAS, combining AI with an established innovation method to help small businesses tackle complex problems.

Gail developed the concept for an AI-enabled Neurological Employment Hub, designed to reduce barriers to employment for people with neurological conditions.

During a guest speaker session, students heard about the charity’s work supporting people with sight loss and the difference it makes to their everyday lives.

Our students are now planning fundraising activities throughout the year to support the charity as part of their course. We’re looking forward to seeing how they get on!
