Well done to 13 of our students who managed to conquer the Wrekin yesterday. It was a warm day but no one gave up and the fantastic views at the top were worth it! Hope everyone's legs aren't aching too much today.

A massive well done to every WVTC student who took part in an AMAZING sports afternoon today! You should all be incredibly proud—what a fantastic event!

Message from the Executive Headteacher:

Due to the rising temperatures over the coming days, and taking into account the needs of our pupils and the limited capacity within school to provide sufficiently cool spaces beyond reasonable adjustments, we recognise that some families may feel more comfortable keeping their child at home.

If you choose to do so, absences will be authorised until Friday.

Please contact the school office or send a message via Arbor to confirm whether your child will be attending.

Sports Afternoon – Monday 29th June

On Monday 29th June all students will be taking part in a Sports Afternoon.
Students will have the opportunity to enjoy fun activities, including a football shoot-out and Kin-Ball. To finish the day, they will be treated to ice cream and strawberries with cream — a lovely way to celebrate their participation!
Can all students please ensure they come to college wearing suitable clothing and footwear for physical activity on the day.
We are looking forward to an exciting and enjoyable afternoon for all students.

Due to the rising temperature, we have made the decision to postpone tomorrow's trip up the Wrekin. If the temperatures drop over the weekend, the trip will go ahead the following week on Tuesday 30th June. All students involved will have received a text message.
