More Summer Beach Party fun! 🏖️

Our Summer Beach Party was filled with exciting activities that kept our children smiling all day long!

Our toddlers loved running their very own Smoothie Bar, where they helped prepare fresh fruit before blending and enjoying their delicious homemade smoothies.

The Ice Cream Parlour in the garden was another favourite! Children enjoyed visiting the serving window to place their orders before collecting their tasty treats, inspiring lots of imaginative role play and plenty of happy smiles. 🍦

These special experiences, along with all the other beach-themed activities, made for a wonderful celebration and the perfect way to round off the year. We are so proud of everything our children have achieved and are delighted to have created such happy memories together.

Wishing all of our families a fantastic summer! 🌞

What a fantastic time we had at our Summer Beach Party yesterday! 🌴

Our nursery was transformed into a seaside with a sandy beach, palm trees, beach balls, water play, and lots of fun beach-themed activities throughout the rooms.

To make the day even more special, everyone enjoyed a delicious fish and chips lunch. Our children had an amazing time making wonderful summer memories, and our staff joined in the fun too!

It was a day full of laughter, imagination, and smiles from start to finish. Thank you to all our wonderful staff for creating such a fun-filled day for the children! 💙☀️

Ice Cream Week Fun in Our Toddler Room! 🍦

Last week, our toddlers enjoyed a fantastic Ice Cream Week filled with creative, hands-on activities!

The children had lots of fun decorating their own ice cream cones with colourful paint, exploring different colours and patterns while developing their creativity. They also painted ice cubes, discovering new textures and watching the colours spread in exciting ways. To finish the week, everyone enjoyed scooping ice cream onto their own cones, helping to build their fine motor skills.

It was wonderful to see so many smiles, creative ideas, and enthusiastic little learners throughout the week! 💛

Messy Mark Making Fun in Tweenies! 🎨🐾

Our Tweenie Room has been getting wonderfully messy this week as the children explored mark making with animals!

Using toy animals dipped in paint, the children created colourful footprints and fascinating patterns, discovering how different animals make different marks. It was a fantastic sensory activity that encouraged curiosity and creativity.

Messy play like this helps to develop early writing skills, fine motor control and imagination – all while having lots of fun!

We think it's safe to say our little artists loved every minute! 🐘🦖🦒🖌️💚

Surviving the Heatwave!🌞

Last week certainly tested us all with the exceptionally hot weather! Our priority throughout the heatwave was keeping the children safe, cool and comfortable while still giving them opportunities to play and explore.

We carefully adapted our days by limiting outdoor play to short, supervised bursts, making the most of our shaded areas, enjoying lots of water play, and ensuring everyone had regular drinks to stay hydrated.

A huge thank you to our dedicated team for their hard work and flexibility throughout the week, and to our families for helping by sending children in with sun hats, cool clothing and sun cream. Working together helped us keep the children safe during some very challenging temperatures.

Here's hoping for a slightly cooler week ahead! ☀️💙
