From all the staff at Long Knowle - we wish all our families a lovely summer break. We wish our year six children good luck and we hope they enjoy their new schools. We will see our returning children in September.

We are pleased to announce that we have been awarded Gold from School Games for the 2nd year in a row! This represents all the physical achievements at Long Knowle including our PE, sports teams and extra curricular clubs!

We will have a special menu in school on Friday 21st June to celebrate the Euros!

Our disco is taking place on Monday 20th May!

Reception & Key Stage 1: 3.45pm - 4.30pm
Key Stage 2: 4.45pm - 5.30pm

Please drop your children off at the Main Entrance of school, and then collect them from the playground afterwards.

ParentPay is live for the payments for the disco. There will be small refreshments provided for your children, as well as glow-themed surprise! The disco is £2 per child.

We can't wait for another brilliant turnout for our FOLK-supported disco!

Our Year 3 class have enjoyed their morning working on building, coding and programming! They are looking forward to the afternoon where they get to challenge themselves even further!

A huge thank you to Chris from Severn Trent water company for a brilliant assembly today. The children learnt about where our clean water comes from and how to look after it!

Last week our children in Years 1 to Year 6 began their swimming lessons in our pop-up-pool ! It has been a fantastic start to our swimming adventure this year. We have seen confidence grow and huge smiles all week! 🏊

Please remember to send your child with their swimming kit, a towel and some footwear (sandals, flip flops, crocs, sliders) for their sessions this week! 🏊‍♀️

Our Year 5 children were fantastic yesterday when we had the film crew in for the Network Rail filming day! Manny Singh Kang showcased his acting skills and the children had an amazing day! Well done to all involved!
