Do you have a primary aged child in need of a project? Have you a budding artist that wants to make a difference in the village? Do you need a quiet 30 mins this holiday, and an activity to keep the busy? Well, this is the news for you!

Get your child creating and making us a poster ; they could win a prize and see their poster up in the village and displayed on here !
It could mention:

🗑️ reducing littering,
🐶 clearing up after your dog,
🐝 🦋 helping the bees and butterflies or
🍃 anything else to keep Wombourne looking fabulous!

Our Year 3 children have worked incredibly hard on their sewing project this term! They began by researching and designing their own apron, then created a template, carefully cut their fabric, and learned how to sew it together - hemming parts and adding a pocket. Throughout the project, they showed fantastic perseverance, resilience, and creativity! 🪡🧵🍬

Well done to our amazing year 6 pupils for their comedic performance in their leaver's production.
Afterwards, they then enjoyed their leaver's disco. Pizza, chips and ice cream- a perfect way to end the day.

Thank you to everyone who supported our summer fayre on Friday. Despite the heat, we raised £1700 and more importantly, gave our pupils a lovely afternoon.
A full list of the raffle prize winners will be sent out tomorrow.
A special thank you to Sarah and her team at OSB who helped set up, run a stall and clear up; to the emergency services who supported us; to Chair of the Council and our local MP; and to all the staff and parents who worked tirelessly all day.

The children and the PTA have worked really hard to get ready for the summer fayre tomorrow. There will be plenty of cold drinks and ice creams on sale as well as the lots of fun games and stalls. We hope to see you all.

The children are making sure Tiny the school tortoise is keeping safe in this heat. He has regular soaks in his bath and the children even found him a hat!!
