As our Year 6 pupils prepare to begin the next chapter of their journey, we would like to wish them all the very best for the future. They have worked incredibly hard throughout their time at our school and have been an absolute pleasure to teach. We are so proud of everything they have achieved and will miss each and every one of them. Good luck in your new secondary schools – we know you will continue to shine and make us proud!

Party time! A fantastic time was had by all at our end-of-term disco! The children enjoyed a fun-filled afternoon of dancing, singing, and celebrating with their friends as we marked the end of another successful school year. It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces and everyone joining in the festivities.

Our Llandudno residential was simply fantastic! The pupils were a credit to the school and embraced every opportunity with enthusiasm, positivity, and exemplary behaviour. From the boat trip, Ferris wheel, tram ride, and open-top bus tour to exploring Conwy Castle, the Great Orme Mines, and so much more, the children threw themselves into every activity and created memories that will last a lifetime. A huge thank you to all the staff who attended and helped make the experience such a special and memorable one for the children.

Wow! How amazing was our Djembe concert this week?! Thanks to Wolverhampton Music Service for our excellent tuition throughout the year.

During Careers Week, Year 6 pupils participated in a workshop where they explored the emotions and experiences that can be associated with transition and collectively considered ways to support one another through this process. Thanks to Jack Cudworth for being a superb mentor!

Prizegiving 2026! 🎉
Congratulations to all of our award winners at Prizegiving 2026. We were delighted to celebrate pupils' achievements across a range of categories, including Most Progress, Instrumental Achievement, and 100% Attendance. Well done to everyone who received an award for their hard work, dedication, and commitment throughout the year. We are incredibly proud of you all!

Congratulations to Miss Medley’s class for winning the Best Attendance Award for the year! The children thoroughly enjoyed their attendance party as a reward for their outstanding commitment to coming to school every day. Thank you, Mrs Doughty, for organising such a wonderful celebration!

For the pupils who did not attend the Llandudno residential, Years 5 and 6 took part in an engaging science workshop led by staff from Aldersley. The session focused on flowers and plants, giving pupils the opportunity to investigate specimens using scientific equipment, including petri dishes. The children thoroughly enjoyed developing their observation and enquiry skills through this hands-on learning experiences.

Thank you to everyone who attended our Early Years Sports Day and Reception Graduation. Physical development is a key part of the Early Years curriculum, and it was wonderful to see the children demonstrating their growing confidence, coordination, and teamwork while celebrating their achievements together.
