It's been a busy couple of wks settling the little ones back in after the summer break!
We had two of our little ones turn a big 1, we hope they had lovely birthdays and enjoyed the books we bought them.🎈
We look forward to reading the colour monster, talking about remembrance Day & painting poppies in the next following weeks❤️

When the sun's out we head for the park and end up soaked, the children enjoyed puddle jumping and hiding under the slide while still managing to play snakes and ladders incorporating math into fun. We have danced with Makaton learning ways to communicate making shapes with our body's counting up and back down singing here comes the sun and Mr blue sky as well as painting colours and building. Come on sunshine

The last couple of wks the children have been role playing with laptops and phones working on speech language and communication (ring ring "hello how are you" " I'm good thank you" "how can I help you") incorporating Makaton. We have also been working on playing together sharing working as a team building the train track, using the busy board strengthening our fingers (motor skills) feeling the touch and feel story book sitting and listening as well as singing and joining in, well done little ones.

Can't wait for summer to get the paddling pool out and have splashing fun.
