Apple Trees Nursery - Wolverhampton Apple Trees Nursery is a friendly, family-run home from home setting in Bushbury, Wolverhampton.

Paediatric First Aid Training

The course is Ofsted recognised and contains 6 hours of home learning, along with 6 hours of practical learning prior.

Date: Saturday, 31st August

Time: 09:00 to 16:00

Cost: £69.99 per person

Our qualified trainer will deliver the course content in a friendly, interactive, and engaging manner. Upon successful completion of the training, participants will receive a certificate that is valid for three years, Our trainer is a senior Emergency Medical Technician who has worked on the frontline for the past 20 years.

Here’s how to get your childcare code:
1. Check your eligibility online on the Childcare Choices website.
2. Speak to your provider, such as your nursery or childminder. Check what their arrangements are and that they can offer your child a place.
3. Create a childcare account on https://orlo.uk/RvUzv if you don’t already have one, where you can apply for your code. You’ll need your National Insurance Number (or unique taxpayer reference if you are self-employed), the date you started or are due to start work, details of any government support or benefits you receive, and the UK birth certificate reference number (if you have one) for your child.

You will get a code within seven days, which you need to give to your provider. You will then need to reconfirm your details on your https://orlo.uk/lS108 childcare account every three months (don't forget that if you have already applied for your code to start in September and received it before 1 June, you may need to reconfirm your details before you take up a place in September, so check your account).

🏆 STAFF MEMBER OF THE MONTH 🏆

A huge congratulations to both Sam and Emma who won staff member of the month for Feb and March.

Sam has fantastic and lovely interactions with the children and has settled amazingly. Sam works in the Toddler Room and occasionally works in preschool.

Emma has fit into Apple Trees really well, creating strong bonds with both parents and children of her new room. Emma mainly works in Babies, however, you may see her in Preschool.

Big shout out to them! 📣

🐰 Easter Egg Competition 🐰

Thank you so much to all those that entered the Easter Egg competition. The competition was judged by all staff, considering several points. Each staff member scored each egg, the totals were collated and a winner was chosen.

Congratulations to the two winners from Baby Room and Toddler Room.

Everyone who entered has won an entry prize and will be distributed over the next few days.

🐰 Easter Stay and Play 🐰

Today we hosted our Easter Stay and Play over two sessions for both preschool and toddler children.

Thank you to all those that attended over the two sessions and we look forward to hosting the babies stay and play tomorrow.

From the 12th of May, parents of 9 month old children and older can apply for their 15 hour funding code, which is scheduled to be rolled out in September 2024.

We will inform parents closer to the date to remind them.
