We had a fantastic day at our Wolverhampton training centre hosting the team from Rowanbrook Care Home! 🌟 They joined us to complete their mandatory Tier 2 Oliver McGowan training—a vital course for CQC-registered staff and well worth attending. The team was amazing, incredibly attentive, and highly involved. A huge thank you to our trainer John, who was joined by Ash and Matt to share their invaluable lived experiences. Statutory Tier 2 training delivered the right way! 🤝We recently visited Athol House in Wolverhampton to deliver the Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training (Tier 2) to their brilliant support team!

🩺Yesterday, the ⁠Karisa Training team ran a specialist, highly tailored training session for the dedicated staff at Complesso/Eden Futures. The team will be supporting a service user living with Diabetes who is prone to Diabetic Keto Acidosis (DKA).
While we have always offered comprehensive Diabetes and insulin injection courses, we take pride in adapting our curriculum to the exact needs of an individual. This bespoke session incorporated the service user’s specific care plan, teaching staff how to remain vigilant for emerging situations, act confidently in emergencies, manage documentation, and ensure workplace safety.
Because invasive procedures require the highest safety standards, our sessions always include practical competency checks.

STEVE TURVEY, our brilliant trainer was in Cannock this week delivering Ligature Management at Needwood House.
Staff learned about the risks surrounding self harm behaviours and why they happen but our course ensures staff are confident and competent to remove a Ligature safely should the emergency arises.
Well done Steve, fabulous training as always.
