September is "all about me" As we welcome back our term time only children, and our new starters, as well as exploring our culture, families and how we are similar or different from each other.
September is a fantastic month for learning about how we all have similarities AND differences, how we should celebrate and support everyone.
Our babies are exploring body parts, and movements, our toddlers are exploring feelings, and making a beautiful Lithuanian treat 🇱🇹 and preschool are learning about where our body parts go, how they are different for each of us, and how we make friends and love each other.

We do however have space for more friends.... ❤️ HELP US BRING MORE LIFESAVING DEFIBRILLATORS INTO OUR COMMUNITY! ❤️

This Saturday, 15th August, Tip Top Day Nursery Bilston is holding its Summer Fayre, and there’s a really important reason to get behind it. ☀️🎪

Money raised from the event will be helping towards community defibrillators — equipment that could quite literally help save someone's life when every second counts. ❤️

There’ll be plenty for the whole family to enjoy, including tombola, raffle, games and much more! 🎟️🎯🎁

Whilst the total isn't complete, let's just say we have made HUGE progress towards our goal with today's fundraiser! 💵

We want to give a massive shout-out to some brilliant local businesses who we spoke to that have generously stepped up to support Tip Top Day Nursery in their fundraiser today to purchase defibrillators for the community. 🥰

🥩 Harper Meats – Bilston Market
A huge thank you for generously donating the amazing meat for the event. Burgers and sausages went down a treat!

🥖 Matt the Baker – Bilston
Thank you for kindly donating some cobs and hot dog buns soft and fluffy as ever.

🥦 JD Produce – Stall 25, Bilston Outdoor Market
A massive thank you for generously donating THREE £10 fruit & veg vouchers – £30 worth of vouchers in total! 🥕🍎🥦

☕ Bennett’s Bar & Cafe – Bilston Market
Thank you for donating a fantastic voucher for 2 meals and 2 drinks.

💅 -Nail Technician - at &Co Silverton way, Wednesfield for not one but two amazing vouchers

🍰 Cake Lounge and Catering -Bilston for a free-be for the lucky winner of that voucher.

🍞 King's Fayre Bakery Limited- Stourbridge for their generous donation of cobs and rolls for the beautiful pulled pork cooked by one of our amazing owners!

These businesses haven't had to help — they've chosen to, and that generosity deserves to be recognised.

A HUGE thank you to Fjord's Community CIC who helped to get most of these donations from businesses, their devotion to the local community shows when you see first hand how in touch they are, and how well respected they are within the community, "give and ye shall receive" As.... Someone said.... 😂 truly could have done today without you guys, and Dave taking a soaking definitely helped!

And a shout out to the generous customer in a local store in bilston who over heard the discussion about asking for donations, and purchased out of their own pocket, a full crate of pop for today! It's so heart warming to know that people like this still exist in the world.

Finally a HUGE thank you to our amazing parents, the families of our staff, and of course the staff themselves! We've had so many donations of goods and cash, and purchases today, we've been truly blown away. Giving up time to support us in fundraising, and being good sports for so many activities, including one of the owners getting soaked 3 times I believe? Don't worry there's plans for the other owner to get soaked too! 😂

Truly we are lucky to have the love and support of you all!

Thank you so much to all who came today, those who have donated etc, we are planning to draw the raffle Friday I believe so if you haven't had a go we will post videos Monday of the children's raffle and adult raffle and if you'd like to have a strip they are £2 a strip. Today has been so lovely.

We are hosting a free family photo at bilston for all tip top families, past, present and future. If you'd like to book in please drop us a message, or feel free to just pop in, there may be a little wait for drop ins, but we will happily accommodate you. Bring whoever you'd like, why not a whole family shoot? Photos will be sent on proof cards, so an email for the card will be recorded prior to the shoot. Come along and join in the fun ❤
