I'm feeling incredibly grateful to be in attendance at the Early Years Company Conference today at Malmaison Birmingham. A huge shoutout to Dr Lewis fogarty for his insightful presentation—truly inspiring!
It’s always a pleasure to collaborate with other settings and professionals in our field. Together, we can continue to make a positive impact in early years education. I love taking back new ideas, ways to reflect and ways to improve to my lovely team. Here’s to more shared knowledge and connections! 🙌
Brambles Day Nursery
We offer a home from home for our early years children. We take Care of children from 3 months to 5.
This evening, our wonderful apprentices came together to broaden their knowledge and understanding of essential skills and behaviours. They challenged themselves with critical thinking and engaged in meaningful discussions about their practices.
A huge well done to all the ladies for your hard work and dedication! Keep pushing your boundaries and striving for excellence! 💪✨
Nova Training
Tonight our team came together for our 12-week professional discussion to reflect on the amazing progress our children are making 🌟
At Brambles Day Nursery, every child’s individual needs matter. We work hard to ensure their learning is supported, extended and celebrated every step of the way. Any areas where a child may need extra support are quickly identified so we can put the right strategies in place and help every child thrive.
Tonight, our room teams used sample children to explore enhanced planning, deepen their understanding of our curriculum, and look at the key skills we want our children to develop. We also discussed our cohort analysis and the wonderful opportunities we provide, including cooking, physical activities and Phase 1 phonics.
It’s truly lovely to see the progress our little ones are making — and it’s all thanks to the dedication and passion of our fantastic team.
We are so proud of the achievements across the nursery.
Well done team! 👏💚
✨ Our First Wonder Day of the Year! ✨
Today we celebrated our first Wonder Day of the year, we explored all things Scottish, inspired by Burns Night 🇸🇨
Throughout the day, we immersed ourselves in Scottish culture and traditions. Where we enjoyed a Scottish-inspired lunch, including neeps and tatties – a classic Scottish side dish made from mashed neeps (swede) and tatties (potatoes). For dessert, we had cranachan, Scotland’s most iconic dessert and often known as the “King of Scottish desserts” – a delicious, creamy layered pudding made with toasted oats, whipped cream, and fresh raspberries.
Our learning also included exploring poetry, with a mix of simple poems and new literature. We got creative by making our own bagpipes, and listened to and dancing to traditional Scottish music 🎶
It was a fun-filled day of discovery as we explore the sights, sounds, and traditions of Scotland! 💙🏴
