Last week, our Year 7 students spent an productive day in Stratford visiting the Stratford-upon-Avon Butterfly Farm . They discovered how butterflies from around the world grow and mature into adults. Along with many butterfly encounters, they also experienced having a green bean stick insect sitting on their hands. The visit is part of their KS3 science curriculum learning about reproduction and variation, ecosystem interdependence and evolution.
