We are incredibly proud to share the outcome of our recent IQM report, where Northwood has been awarded Flagship Status for our outstanding work around inclusion.

Schools recognised at this level demonstrate sustained excellence in teaching and learning, actively contribute to national discussions on education, and serve as hubs of inspiration for other schools striving for inclusive practice.

This award recognises that inclusion is deeply embedded within Northwood’s ethos, strategy and everyday classroom practice. It reflects the dedication, compassion and commitment shown by our staff to ensure that every child feels valued, supported and able to thrive.

A huge well done and thank you to all of our staff for their incredible contributions towards this achievement. This is something we are truly proud to celebrate and share with our whole community. 👏✨

Amazing work Villiers Primary School!

🎵 We’re delighted to announce that our school has been awarded the Music Mark 2025! 🎶

This special recognition celebrates our commitment to providing high-quality music education for all our pupils. From singing assemblies and instrument lessons to performances and creative music-making, music is at the heart of what we do.

We’re excited to welcome The Martin Wilson Primary School & Early Years Centre to SHINE Academies officially today!

It’s the start of a new academic year and our schools are busy preparing for the return of pupils on Wednesday. Let’s go!

We’re thrilled to be launching a new way to celebrate the incredible dedication of our staff across the Trust — our brand new Long Service Award pin badges!

Designed by our Head of People, these aren’t just any badges. They’re glittery and they shine — just like the people receiving them.

From September, colleagues reaching key service milestones will be presented with these sparkling tokens of appreciation. It’s a small symbol of a big thank you for the commitment, care and consistency our staff bring to their roles every day.

Our people are the heart of everything we do — and we believe great service should be seen and celebrated.

Thank you for allowing us to visit with Northwood Park Primary School and then coming to see us and participating in the Lodge Farm Primary School and Little Farmers Nursery show!

The end of the school year is always the toughest stretch for staff as we crawl to the finish line – but it’s also the most rewarding!

Tonight, it was an absolute privilege to watch Lodge Farm Primary School and Little Farmers Nursery Year 6 leavers’ production – the first of five we’ll be celebrating before the end of term! Written by one of our talented Assistant Headteachers, the children sang, danced, and laughed their way through an incredible performance, radiating genuine enthusiasm and talent. Pride was bursting from the audience, packed with friends and family.

A special mention to Sureena Brackenridge MP, who had a full-on SHINE day. After inviting pupils from Northwood Park Primary School to visit Parliament this morning, she raced back from London to Willenhall just in time to see the children at Lodge Farm perform. We’re certain our shining stars made the whirlwind journey worth every second! 🌟
