Our children and staff had a wonderful time at Bantock Park yesterday! We really enjoy taking the little ones out into the community, as it's a great way to enhance their learning and awareness of the world. Plus, our lovely deputy manager, Sophie, kindly treated everyone to ice cream afterwards, which was a perfect ending! 🥰

We are excited to let you know that we're revamping our library area into a cosy reading nook for the children! This transformation will provide a lovely space for many wonderful storytime sessions, allowing them to dive into the world of imagination. We can't wait to see how much they enjoy this new addition!

This week, we’ve been celebrating Easter in a fun and engaging way! The children have enjoyed a cooking activity, making delicious nest cakes, and they've loved giving cuddles to Benny the rabbit. We also had a lovely visit from our friends at the care home, who brought Easter eggs for the little ones. It’s been a wonderful week, and if the weather holds up, we’re excited to plan an Easter egg hunt at the park soon!

We were thrilled to welcome our friend Tom from the care home to Gardening Club on Thursday, along with his lovely carer, Sharnie. The children had a wonderful time planting flower seeds in preparation for spring, and we can't wait to see the beautiful blooms soon! 🌷🌹🌺🌸🌼

We had a wonderful time with our friends at the care home! Our visits on a Monday are always a highlight, thanks to Sharnie, the fantastic activities coordinator who sets up engaging activities for everyone. We're excited to take part in the intergenerational activities that occur each Monday. Plus, Sharnie and Laura are organising an outing trip to the farm during the Easter holidays, which will allow us to create even more cherished memories with our friends! 🥰

Over the past few days, we’ve been busy enhancing our outdoor areas. We’re excited to share that we’ve revamped our baby sensory area and construction zone, and we’ve added a lovely gardening space where children can nurture beautiful flowers for Spring. To make the gardening area even more enchanting, we’ve created a fairy garden, sparking the children's imagination and encouraging them to care for our outdoor spaces, as they can believe the fairies are watching over them. There are still a few finishing touches to complete, like refreshing the fencing with some paint, which we’ll tackle once the weather improves. We hope you love the progress we've made so far—our hard work has truly paid off, and we're really proud of what we’ve achieved!
