Our Toddlers and Pre-School children have recently shown a great interest in water play, so we created a lovely tea-making activity for them to explore ☕💧
The children added different flavoured tea bags to the water before pouring it into cups and serving everyone their own “cup of tea”. They had lots of fun pretending to make drinks for their friends and practitioners.
During the activity, we also talked about the different smells of the tea bags and encouraged the children to describe what they could smell 🌿👃
This activity supported the children’s sensory development, communication skills and imaginative play while having lots of fun exploring together! ✨

Our babies have recently been having lots of fun exploring the building blocks in the Baby Room 🧱✨
The children enjoyed building tall towers before knocking them down again, as well as exploring the different sounds they could make using the tools 🎶
We extended their learning by adding paint to the tuff tray, giving the children a wonderful sensory experience as they mixed the colours together and explored different textures 🎨🖐️
It has been lovely to see the children learning through play while developing their curiosity and creativity! 💛

A big thank you to one of our lovely parents for their kind donation, which inspired a wonderful planting activity in our Toddlers and Pre-School Room 🌱🌼
The children have been busy planting and learning all about how to care for their plants. They discovered that plants need sunshine ☀️ and water 💧 to help them grow big and tall.
The children have loved getting hands-on in the garden and are excited to continue looking after their growing plants! 🌿

The children enjoyed a lovely yoga session 🧘♀️
They explored different movements and positions, building strength, balance, and coordination. We also listened to calming music, which helped everyone to relax after lunchtime.
A peaceful and positive way to recharge for the rest of the day! ✨
