We love working with the Wolves Foundation in school and what a treat a group of pupils had this week as a reward for our community focussed project work. We even got to visit the dressing room, ready and prepped for players’ ahead of today’s game. Look out for the official Wolves photos on our website soon. Thank you Wolves
Kingswood Day 2:
The children have just got back from Kingswood Common where they have built nests for different types of birds! They are just about to have their lunch before heading back to school!
Kingswood update: all the children are up and currently having their breakfast before they are going to go and make their beds. They will then be going on a walk on the Kingswood common!
The children on our residential have finished their tea and are having some free time playing after doing some orienteering, shelter building and animal feeding this afternoon!
The children at Kingswood have arrived safely, unpacked and are now getting ready for their first activities of an Owl Trail and Pond Dipping!

Great way to end a brilliant term in school. Thank you to all of our families and to the wider community who support a dedicated team of staff in the work we do. Happy holidays, looking forward to what we can achieve next term together 😊
👏👏👏 Huge congratulations SS Peter and Paul Catholic Primary Academy which has been named School of the Year at the Your UK Parliament Awards after launching a campaign to get defibrillators into all schools in the city.
Pupils at the Whitmore Reans school have been raising awareness of the importance of defibrillators since the collapse of Danish footballer Christian Eriksen at the European Championships last summer.
Pupils started a campaign to get a defibrillator for their school, and to champion the installation of defibrillators in other local schools. They have been fundraising and pupils, parents and staff have also had lifesaving CPR and defibrillator training.
Brenda Wile, the council's Deputy Director of Education, said: "SS Peter and Paul Catholic Primary Academy fully deserves the accolade of School of the Year – their campaign is an incredibly important one and it's great to see that it will benefit other schools in our city, too.
"To help someone who is in cardiac arrest effectively, a defibrillator needs to be found as quickly as possible. That's why it is crucial that they are widely available – and easily accessible – right across Wolverhampton, and that includes in locations like our schools."

SS Peter and Paul has just picked up the National Parliament Award for School of the Year at the Houses of Parliament!
No greater timing than on the day Cristian Eriksen Captain’s his team at the very same pitch a defibrillator saved his life. His collapse at the Euro’s prompted a former pupil to rally year 6 to launch the campaign. The project now belongs to the whole school - with pupils, parents and staff coming together in award winning ways for our great city ⭐️
We look forward to working with the Oliver King Foundation ⭐️

We did it! A great team and a brilliant turn out and show of support for our cause and effort.
We’ve had the whole school run, today it’s the staff’s turn. We are amazed by the support so far and confident that we will be in a position to kit out at least one more school with a lifesaving defibrillator, could we do better than that? We are raising money for @theOkfoundation. Please share our page and our reason for running. ❤️ https://gofund.me/fc2856e5
We are 360km in to our John O'Groates to Lands End cycle challenge - great support from pupils, staff and Governors too - thank you Mrs Heaney for joining our campaign! How many kms will we add in Praise Assembly?
With monies coming in all the time we are overwhelmed by the community support for such a brilliant cause - we couldn't be more proud as a school community of knowing that we will acheive our overall target already. Thank you to each and every child, family, neighbour, local buisness that is getting behind our campaign. We are going to achieve something record breaking for our school! Every child going above and beyond will be rewarded in some special way, we are in awe of you all and so proud. The more we raise, the greater the chance of kitting out another school - EXTRAORDINARY!
