You made it boys! A big shout out to the Leavers’ Class of 2023 who picked up their GCSE results today. When we waved you off to your senior schools we knew you were well prepared to take on the hard work needed to succeed in your exams. We are super proud of all you have achieved and hope you are too 👏Good luck on the next leg of your educational journey and remember, exam grades aren’t everything… being kind, courteous and courageous are just as important.

“Photography is the story I fail to put into words.” (Destin Sparks, award-winning photographer)

We took on an impossible task… to pick the best photos from the Summer term to illustrate how important it is to capture the wonderful moments that happen every day at Ludgrove.

These are just some of our personal favourites but we know there will be dozens of other images that beautifully illustrate our small prep school family and the wonderful relationships between boys, staff and families.

🤩Grit and determination🤩These are two of the characteristics that make Ludgrove boys stand out from the rest and Kaoru demonstrated he has these strengths in bucket loads by climbing Mount Fuji this Summer. Japan’s highest mountain, standing at 3,776m, is a formidable challenge for anyone and yet this boy from the IIs (Year 7) persevered over two days, enduring altitude sickness and unpredictable weather, to reach the summit🏔️. And how wonderful to see he wore his Ludgrove bobble hat on his adventures (we wonder where the ‘L’ will pop up next?) Well done Karou, a sterling example of resilience… and all with a smile on his face👏💪👏

You did it! Well done to the OL Leavers 2021 on reaching the end of this part of your educational journey 👏 Whatever your results today, be proud of the person you have become and all you have experienced along the way - the friendships, laughter, successes, mistakes, teachers who challenged you and people who believed in you. These things don’t appear on your results sheet but are every bit as important in shaping the man you have become. Ludgrove is proud of you all 🫡
