Our future sixth formers met teachers and classmates, explored our courses, dipped into their post-18 pathways and discovered what life at Forest6 is all about. Friday last week saw the Year 12s take each other on in one of Mrs Welch’s Quizzes… a little bit of well-being before the mock exams.

We were proud to enter two teams in the 2026 Schools’ Analyst Competition, held at Abbey School and featuring a strong field of competitors from local schools. Both teams demonstrated outstanding teamwork, professionalism, and determination throughout the competition, completing the practical tasks efficiently ahead of many others while maintaining a strong focus on accuracy and scientific rigour. The results will be released in due course as we await to find out if they progress to the next round.
