Acorns Day Nursery is a small family run children's nursery. We are looking for a passionate to join our friendly team and provided home cooked meals for the children.
✅Permanent- 51 weeks please note this role is not term time only
✅ Part time - 25 hours per week
✅ Small nursery with a warm family feel

⭐️Experience of cooking in a nursery / school kitchen
⭐️A food hygiene qualification is desirable but training can be provided
⭐️Experience of managing allergies and intolerances
⭐️Creative and excited to shape healthy food habits

Job Role:
🍎To provide a home cooked well-balanced diet for young .
🌽To ensure children’s dietary needs, particularly serious allergies, are met.
🥦To contribute to the menu planning adhering to the ‘home cooked’ food ethos.
🍊To manage the weekly food ordering and stock rotation/control.
🍓To maintain high standards of hygiene.
🥑To adhere to food hygiene policies, standard operating processes and legislation.

Acorns Day Nursery is a small family run children's nursery. We are looking for a Nursery Cook to join our friendly team and provided home cooked meals for the children who attend. The successful candidate will be a team player with a positive attitude and the following skills/knowledge:

⭐️Experience of cooking in a nursery / school kitchen
⭐️A food hygiene qualification is desirable but training can be provided
⭐️Experience of managing allergies and intolerances

Job Role:
🍎To provide a nutritious and well-balanced diet for the children.
🌽To ensure children’s dietary needs, particularly serious allergies, are met.
🥦To contribute to the menu planning adhering to the ‘home cooked’ food ethos.

☺️We are looking for someone to work
5 hours per day ( ideally 9am -2pm but we can be flexible ) However hours of work can be flexible for the right candidate.

Did you know a bright coat could make a difference to your child’s safety?

Autumn may feel like ages away but before we know it the clocks will change and our children will be heading to and from school in the dark. Wearing a brighter coloured coat can help them be seen more easily by drivers as the nights draw in.

If your child or their school insists on a darker colour you can add reflective strips to increase visibility.
