Today we had a visit from Sadie at Feathers and Fur. She introduced the children to three beautiful owls and we learnt all about what they ate, how they hunt and about their features. Sadie engaged the children so well and the children even had an opportunity to hold a little owl! We had the best time - thank you Sadie 🦉🦉🦉🦉. https://feathersandfur.co.uk

We’ve had a fun morning meeting all the animals from Basil And Crew Mobile Farm. The children enjoyed feeding, stroking and grooming the animals 🥰

We are looking for an Early Years Practitioner to join our lovely team in September 2025

Are you:
• Aware of how young children learn.
• Able to support learning through play.
• Enthusiastic, self-motivated and a team player.

We are looking for someone 3-4 days per week, term time only.

Qualified and Non Qualified candidates will be considered.

This role will require an enhanced DBS

🌞 Yellow Weather Warning – Heat Alert for Tomorrow 🌞

A reminder to all our families that there is a yellow weather warning in place for heat tomorrow. It can get very warm in nursery, so please ensure your child arrives with suncream already applied, a sun hat, plenty of water, and cool, comfortable clothing.

We will be adjusting our activities throughout the day to keep everyone safe—focusing on calm, weather-appropriate play, reducing excessive movement, and keeping a close eye on how the children are coping with the heat.
