Giving our children the best start in phonics and reading is something we are passionate about at Windmill. From beginner sounds in Early Years to reading comprehension skills in KS1 our specialist Phonics tutors make sure everyone is off to a flying start with the Read Write Inc programme.

Our youngest learners in Nursery continually amaze us with their curiosity and thirst for adventure, the school is very quiet during the holidays without their laughter filling the playground! We hope our Ducklings and Pufflings are enjoying their summer break.

Work on our new Nature Garden is underway and we will soon have a brand new space for outdoor learning and reflection. Thankyou to Wokingham in Need and for sponsoring the project, the children cannot wait to use it!
