Last week, our children visited the Houses of Parliament where they were taken on an ‘access all areas’ tour. We witnessed a vote taking place in the House of Commons and sat in on a debate in the House of Lords. Following our tour, we attended a workshop where we had the chance to meet Adam Lawless, a staffer who works for Clive Jones. Adam listened to some of the concerns the children have within our borough and has promised to take them back to Clive for discussion !

Our wonderful Chamber Choir were invited to join our friends over at Murdoch House for their Summer BBQ. The choir performed a few summer sizzlers before tucking in to a delicious lunch with the residents. Thank you so much for inviting us !

What a way to finish a half term ! A huge thank you to our amazing School association, for their fantastic efforts with today’s event! The children had the best time ‘running through the rainbow’ whilst raising funds for new computing equipment ! Year 5 have been cooking up a storm this week!
Following recipes, they made 3 different types of fritters. Once they were cooked, it was time for the taste test and evaluation. We can’t wait to see what they make next !
