Well, that was another fantastic 'Quiz Night' with a brilliant turnout of people 😊

Well done to 'Law & Disorder' our valiant winners, enjoy your prizes and toast your success!

Our Losers, 'The Wine O'Clockers' were down on team members on the night, and they did very well considering. We feel sure that they will fight back next time.

A huge 'Thank you' to Adele, for being our Quizmaster for the evening and tackling our brains, especially the 'anagram round' and thank you to her helpers on the night too.

Great 'Fish & Chips' from Tremblays again. Thank you very much - yummy!

Lastly, thank you to you all for coming along and supporting the fundraising for Hoe Valley School.

We will update you on the final figures raised later this week.

Due to the current severe weather conditions, the PTA Meeting that was scheduled for tonight - Wed 28th Feb 2018, has now been re-arranged for *** next Wednesday 7th March 2018 ***in the Dianthus Building,Goldsworth Park, at 6.30pm.

Apologies for the cancellation today, but we just want to try our very best to keep everyone safe and at home in the warm.

Thank you to everyone who came along and attended the 'Winter Wonderland Christmas Craft Fayre' today.
It was very busy and I think a good time was had by all!
Thank you to all the PTA members and all the PTA helpers, who gave up their free time to help run the Fayre, it was very much appreciated.
The PTA will be able to give you a financial update on Monday, as to how much we have raised towards the 'Hoe Valley School Minibus'.

A great time was had by all, and how grateful we were to Tracy Wright, for giving up her free time to be our fantastic Quizmaster again. Such a great mix of questions/subjects.

Hopefully, we have all helped to top up the 'Minibus Fund' again, and we will let you know how much was raised over the next week.

We have our first PTA meeting of the new academic year tomorrow night, Wednesday 13th September 2017 at 6.30pm, in the Woking Leisure Centre's Cafe.

If you would like to come along and join us, it would be really great to meet you and have you on board the PTA with us or if you are able to add your name to our parent helpers list, that would be fantastic too. We are always looking for additional helpers at all our fundraising events.

Well done to 'The Happy Campers' on their victory last night at our HVS 'Ask the Family' Quiz!!

A great set of questions again by our fantastic Quiz Master Tracy and her wonderful assistant, Barney, thank you to you both.

A big 'Thank You' to all the teams who came along and joined in and it was such a close call with that scoreboard on the last round.

We will advise later this week, on how much has been raised towards our on-going Minibus total.

Family Quiz Night - Friday 12 May 2017

The PTA are hoping that you are putting your Egghead teams together for our 'Ask the Family' Quiz on the 12 May 2017.

Our last quiz night was a great success, we had loads of fun and lots of laughter 😊😊

Please could your team entry forms be in by the 9th May.

Entry forms are available from the school office or via the email sent out last week.

Your support towards this event will really help towards us achieving the school Minibus, which is for all our students to enjoy 😊

Woking Council offers FREE sports coaching for Woking children during the Summer Term. This is 6 weeks of free coaching in lots of sports and children can participate in more than 1 sport.
Coaching local to school, so kids can transport themselves, are as follows:
Boxing, mixed, Woking Boxing Club, Saturdays 10-11.30.
Lacrosse, mixed, SJB sports field, Monday's 4-5 (it's ok to be a bit late).
Netball, girls, SJB, Tuesday's, 5.30-6.15.
Squash, mixed, Woking Park, Saturdays, 2.30-3.30.
Table Tennis, mixed, Woking Leisure Centre, Tuesday's,5-6.
Touch Tennis, mixed, Woking Park, Tuesday's, 6.30-7.30.

A big 'THANK YOU' to everyone who donated cakes to our Year 7 Cake Sale yesterday and another big 'THANK YOU ' to everyone who purchased cakes, we really hope you had some nice yummy treats 😊

Your donations and purchases helped us raise £201 towards our 'Minibus Fund'. We will be updating you all after half-term with more up and coming events and also will give you a total on what we have raise so far.

Still a long way to go but with your great support, we will get there!!

Next Fundraising Event

Year 7 Cake Sale - Friday 10th February 2017 @ 4pm.

Please could all the year 7's students bring cakes in to reception in the morning, which will then be on sale at the end of the day by your Hoe Valley PTA Team.

Please don't forget to send all the students into school with some pocket money on the day, so they are able to buy some yummy homemade treats for the weekend 😊😊
