🚑 This week we have celebrated the NHS turning 75 years old!
We dressed up to celebrate and learnt what different roles there are in the NHS.
We had a practice on how to make people and the babies feel better and used the different tools such as a stethoscope.
Thank you to our wonderful families who brought in real items that can be shown and used this week.

🚑 The NHS are celebrating 75 years of service in July! 🎉
To show our support for our NHS service we are holding a celebration day to celebrate all they do for us.
Please join us on the 4th July by wearing blue or dressing as a Dr, Nurse, Surgeon, Dentist. 🏥
We will be looking at the different roles on the day and incorporating learning through play in each room!🩺🩹

👑 We had a grand time today celebrating the King's Coronation at the nursery!
Thank you to all the families who joined us to play and take part in our celebration activities, the children loved dressing up for the day and talking about the King and London while joining in our activities! 🫅

Great day for the farm trip today! We are all ready to explore! We are meeting for lunch at about 12.30 in the picnic area.
Tractor ride booked for 12.20pm and animal encounters at 10.40am, have a great day!

🐣 We have 2 baby chick's out now! Number 8 and number 6! We have been taking groups to see the baby chick's, we can hear alot of chirping! All the children have been talking about how they will get bigger and are excited to see more hatch later!

🐣 Eggciting news this morning, our number 9 egg has a crack in it and is wobbling! This is a great sign that a baby chicken will hatch today! Well done to the person who guessed the number 9 would hatch first! We will keep you updated, watch this space! 🐥

This week the Badgers have been eco warriors, we have been learning about the different things we can recycle to stop so much waste going to landfill sites.
We have been looking through our new recycling books and the children have learned what we can recycle while at nursery and which bins to put it in!
They have said “this is so exciting!” and “to save the world!”
We then put on our new eco warrior vests and went outside to put up our new water butt which will collect the rain water for us so we can water our plants!

The children in Butterflies have enjoyed exploring the snow this week, we were also celebrating Holi and painting the snow with different colours as well as making different marks in the snow with our feet, the hoops and the bikes.

Today is random acts of kindness day! 💝 We have been giving out a 'hug in a mug' to all our families! Some said it was well needed and others said they would enjoy it together with older siblings in the half term. Have a great day everyone! 😁

The 🦋 Butterflies Children have been using a variety of different media and materials to create their own hand-fans to celebrate the Chinese New Year. They practiced developing their fine motor skills by spreading the paint and glue, then sticking on the coloured cellophane pieces.

Today we welcome back BilinguaSing Surrey with open arms, Bonjour! 👋
Badgers have taken part in the first of many French sessions today, we sang a hello song, simple nursery rhymes and a goodbye bubbles song! 🎶
The children enjoyed the songs and music and may even come home knowing a few words!
