Cover Staff Vacancy!
We’re currently looking to expand our team of cover staff at our lovely pre school
(Our usual policy of not employing parents who have children attending the setting will not apply for this role. This is due to the intermittent nature of the work.)
This is a perfect role for people who love working with children but do not want the commitment of a permanent position. We are a family run pre school with a close working, friendly team of staff. We pride ourselves on building excellent relationships with the children and providing them with a caring, nurturing and engaging place to enjoy themselves and further their development.
The role will entail supporting the permanent staff in the setting when we have other staff absent for sickness, training etc. It may also entail giving extra support so that staff can provide higher ratio care for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities
You will be called upon on an ad hoc basis dependant on the needs of the setting and if you are able to help on that particular day.
All candidates will be employed dependant on successful references and DBS check. Experience of working with children and any relevant childcare qualifications are desirable but not essential.
For more information and to apply please contact us at [email protected]

Our Seedlings have been busy creating this fantastic display board of Dinosaur crafts.
Our focus book over the last week has been 'Dinosaurs Love Underpants'. The children love this story and have had such fun with the related activities.
The children have been busy creating some wonderful Autumn crafts this term. Look at our display board! Great work Seedlings!
Look at our fantastic new addition to the garden! This climbing frame was gifted to us from a family whose children have both come through Seedlings, and are now at school.
The children love this, and are having lots of fun climbing and creating an obstable course with some other of our garden toys.
We were very lucky to be gifted this fabulous vegetable trug from one of our Leavers & her parents last term!
The children have loved filling the trug and it is now ready for planting! It will be lovely for the Seedlings children to plant the seeds & bulbs, and watch the whole process happen in front of their eyes.
