Hey Drum School Followers! 🖖🥳

My apologies for not updating you all since July. Bad Adam!! 🤣The main reason is because we're slowly moving our operation/brand across to Woking Music.

We never intended to become a Music School. The idea of running a Drum School seemed a little bonkers at the time. But once we started the Weekly Monday Night Jam, along with the Drum Clinics come Band Masterclasses in 2022, it just all made sense to bring everything together under one brand.

NOW. What I really wanted to share with you is how we have our next Masterclass/Clinic/Thing on Thursday 19th October.

The event will be made up of two parts.

The Performance (like a Concert/Gig) and a Conversation.

The Performance 🎸
The band is made up of four of the greatest musicians around. It will be so inspiring seeing them all perform together.

The Conversation 🎤
This is where the event is like nothing else I've ever encountered. We really stumbled upon this by chance early this year with Pete Ray Biggin & Band, and it's grown from there.

To set the scene! 🎥You've just witness four of the very best musicians perform and improvise live on stage. It has profoundly impacted you, as it should have! 😂

You then get to hear those same musicians chat on stage about the performance, about music, and about life. You come to find out that they've had struggles. That they've had ups and downs. You get to hear stories of encouragement.

There's a level of humanity that you never get to access at a Gig.
For some of you, this night might change the trajectory of your life. It's really special.

We'll do a better job describing these events in the future. But in the meantime. Come on down on Thursday 19th October! It's going to be fantastic! 🥳💛

We want to inspire you to take your own performance abilities to the next level, whether you've been drumming for decades or if you're a parent of a young child just starting out on the drums. This night is designed with you in mind.

Now, you might be wondering, what exactly is a Drum Clinic? Traditionally, a drum clinic has been an educational event led by professional or renowned drummers, where they share their expertise, knowledge, and techniques with participants.

However, we're taking a different approach. Some might even say it's a better approach (I'll admit, that might just be me!). We're not only bringing the legendary Mark Fletcher, the former house drummer at arguably the most renowned jazz club on the planet, but we've assembled a world-class band to perform alongside him. Can you believe it? It's going to be mind-blowing!

Let's face it, the drum kit isn't typically seen as a solo instrument. No one says, "Oh, what a lovely melody played by the drum solo!" No, we're an accompanying instrument.

This night will allow the drummer to showcase their abilities in their natural habitat—accompanying other musicians and creating magic together. It's all about making music and experiencing the explosive energy of a united performance.

Believe me when I say that I couldn't recommend this night any more strongly. Many of you are either learning to play the drums or have loved ones taking lessons with us. It would be a disservice to yourself if you didn't seize this opportunity to attend the Clinics.

Hey Friends!

We're really excited for tomorrow's Clinic. Just some thoughts on tomorrow night!

1. Tickets WILL be available on the Door. We've sold approximately 80 tickets, but the venue can sit up to 250ppl, so there's still plenty on space for you and your friends if you decide to come on the night.

2. Drums are loud so please bring ear plugs, especially if you're bringing young children with you!

3. The venue only has limited parking, so I'd really encourage you to park at the Brewery Road Car Park under the WWF UK Offices.
