Bisley C of E Primary school is an open, honest and caring school with a strong Christian ethos.
Most importantly, the pupils are at the centre of everything and every decision is made with the pupils’ best interests at heart.
Operating as usual

We are very grateful to Chloe's and Sophie's Special Ears Fund for the donation of this brilliant BSL board for our school. We can't wait to put it up in our playground.

We are very pleased with our new chairs for the hall! A huge thank you to Friends of Bisley School for funding two trolleys and 80 chairs. These are so much easier to layout, pack away and take up much less storage space.
We were also very pleased to be able to donate our old blue chairs to Woking Youth Theatre. ☺️

“OMG so adorable!” 🥰📸 Most of us don’t think twice about posting images of our children on social media … but maybe we ought to. This week’s guide highlights the possible risks of sharing family photos 👀

Please remember that uniform with the school logo and uniform with no school logo are both fine. We offer lots of different options of uniform so please pick the best option for you and your family.
Friends of Bisley School run a second hand uniform shop which is brilliant! You can access the uniform via this page. https://www.facebook.com/groups/313177036439569/?ref=share

Are you watching the World Cup Final today?
It is a historic day, not only for English football but for women's sport. The World Cup Final; what an achievement for the Lionesses!
If this had been during school term time we would have been talking about the World Cup at school and we are sure that many of our families have been following the tournament. So, please feel free to post a picture of where you are watching the match/who you are watching with/any comments here.
Come on the Lionesses!
⚽⚽It feels like a very appropriate morning to congratulate one of our very own footballers, Hannah (Year 6).⚽⚽
Hannah not only accepted a place with Reading FC in July but due to her success playing for Woking District has now been selected to play county level football and will represent Surrey.
Well done Hannah, we are all incredibly proud of you! ☺️

When buying school uniform, please remember that uniform with logos and no logos are both equally fine.
We try and offer as many options as possible to our families. Please pick what is right for you and your child. Some like to wear traditional school shoes and school trousers/dresses, where as some prefer to wear jogging bottoms/leggings and black trainers.
If you have any questions about uniform please feel free to ask below. We are sure that someone else will have the same question! ☺️
Get Kids Reading is run by someone I, and a few of our teachers, have been very privileged to teach with over a number of years. Denny is passionate about helping parents to help their children get into reading. This page is well worth a look and might just give you some ideas for the summer. I know that I have already found some recommendations for my two boys! Mrs M

Holiday Club Day 10: Today we finished our Holiday Club with our W***y Wonka day, making sure we created our golden tickets. We had games, bubbles, playing, biscuits and ended with our film.🍫
Thank you to Miss Hinks who led this week supported by Mr Bone, Mrs Bown, Mrs Stainforth, Miss Evans and Miss Isaacs.
A huge thank you to all the staff who worked over the last two weeks in order for us to be able to run the club. Thank you to Mrs Fisher and Miss Cook for their work behind the scenes, it really is a team effort. We are now off for a well earned break.....and we have ordered some sun for next week too! 😉 Mrs M ☺️
P.S don't forget booking is now open, via your child's Scopay account for our October Holiday Club!

This summer term Mrs McConnell set up a music theory lunchtime club .🎵
Amelia worked very hard and managed to work through Grade 1 & 2, she took the Grade 2 exam and passed with full marks 75/75! Absolutely amazing! Well done Amelia!
The club will return in the Autumn 😄

Holiday Club Day 9: Our penultimate day of holiday club and today we had Messy Day. Lots of painting, cleaning muddy pigs and tuff tray play. We finished our afternoon with the very popular slime making and had smiles all round.

Do we have any parents/carers working in healthcare who would benefit from some masks? We have quite a few spare!

*Update, I can confirm that we do not fund this shelf from the money the DfE give us to run the school. There is no negative impact to the pupils funding. Mrs M **
Today the staff food shelf recieved a much needed restock!
We need to make sure we look after our staff, especially when they leave their lunch at home or end up staying later than they originally planned!

A final video from Smartsheet. A great reminder of a brilliant day! Thanks STEAM Co

Holiday Club Day 8: We had a wet Wednesday today in Forest School. We made medals, built dens, scavenged fruit, whittled and more! The rain didn’t dampen any spirits and it was a military operation to get everyone dry and changed to go home!

⭐⭐Bookings for our October Holiday Club are now open! ⭐⭐
We know it may seem like a long way off but some parents have already asked if we are doing any days.
All booking is via your child's Scopay account.
Every child who attends needs a completed form - please see email.
Reception children will be able to book once their Scopay account is live. You will receive a link from the office by 8.9.23 to set your account up.
All children, including children who do not attend Bisley are welcome to attend. Please email [email protected] for forms and details for how to pay. 😊
Current parents - apologies that the email just sent has no text. It was a blip in the system. 🙄

Cardinals Netball Club is returning to Bisley in September on Mondays. The club is open to all children in Year 3-6 and is a great way to get involved in a very successful local netball club.
