To all our dear Parents and Students in Hong Kong,

As many of you know, we were forced to close our office back in April as I needed to return to the UK urgently (both my parents have serious health conditions). I'm so happy to say that their situation is now much more stable but we have made the decision to stay in the UK permanently to be closer to them. We have still been providing online lessons to many of our students during this time in the UK and we feel extremely blessed to have so many loyal parents supporting us during this difficult time. 🙏🏻🥰

Over the past few months, we have been developing a new side to our business which I'm excited to finally share with you! It is called "ESL Guardianship Services" and we provide guardianship services to HK parents sending their children to the UK to study at boarding schools. We already have a few students this school year and we are really enjoying this new part of our business! 💪🏻🥰

If you have any friends or family who are planning to send their children to the UK next year, please do share our details with them as we know how hard it is to find people you can trust to look after your children, especially when you are not there. Thank you for your support always! 🙏🏻🥰

Kindergartens to shut over common cold; Hong Kong faces 23 new Covid-19 cases

The government has announced that all kindergartens/nurseries will be closed AGAIN for the coming 2 weeks! 🥺

Our little ones have missed out on so much face-to-face teaching and learning this year. Although many schools do offer Zoom classes, it is not ideal for younger children who need the stimulation and interaction with their friends. Therefore, we would like to offer classes for any 2~5 year olds during this school closure period from 16/11~27/11 from Mon~Fri @ 9:00~12:00. Let's make the most of this difficult time and support each other!

Kindergartens to shut over common cold; Hong Kong faces 23 new Covid-19 cases Two-week shutdown takes effect on Saturday, with 129 outbreaks of upper respiratory tract infections recorded this week, mostly in nurseries.

This year has been incredibly challenging for everyone but receiving a message like this from one of the parents makes it all worthwhile! 🙏🏻🥰

"Joanna, really appreciate your teaching. My eldest daughter is more willing and confident to speak in English now and says she loves English more than before. She will try to speak English with me or just try to present something in English. I am really surprised and so happy that she enjoys it and feels free to use it. My younger daughter also says she always looks forward to having lesson with you every week!" ❤

Well that was definitely a very strange summer holiday but we survived! 😅🤷‍♀️ Tomorrow is the first day for local schools to start their online lessons but hopefully everyone will be back at school very soon! 🥰🤞🏻

Favourite memories! (part 2) ♥

During these uncertain times, it hopefully makes us really appreciate what we have but also may make us forget certain important milestones! 🤦🏻😅 This morning I just realised this is my 20th year of teaching! 🎉😍 Each and every one of my students has taught ME so much, whether they only stayed a week, a month, a year or even 10+ years (u know who u are! 😂😜) Many are now all grown up and some are even married and hopefully starting their own families soon! I'm so so proud of the amazing people they have become and now I'm just waiting for the next generation of students to arrive! 👶🏻🤣 Here are a selection of some of my favourite memories. ♥☺

It's been so great to welcome back students last week, some of whom we haven't seen since before Chinese New Year! 😱😢 We really missed u all and hope you'll be able to return to school soon! 💪🏻😆😍
