SATs exams 13th-16th May...
Good luck to all my Year 6 tutees!

Tutees' comments relating to my small group sessions.
Dislikes: long division and worksheets (although I use worksheets as little as possible 😂)
Likes: educational games and cat Biscuit present during lessons 😀

Year 6 group was playing games, revising the main maths concepts before SATs exams next week. The table looked so colourful! 😄

2D & 3D shapes & linear sequences on the agenda last week. Kids created the geometry game all by themselves 👏

I created some Ratio flash cards in Canva to practise previous years' SATs exam style questions.

£45 for 50 min
(£155 per calendar month term time only)

↗️ Year 6 Group Sessions (max 4 students per group, 29 sessions Sept-May)
£25 for 50 min session per child
(£80 per calendar month**)

↗️ Year 4-5 and Year 7 Group Sessions (max 4 students per group, 38 sessions Sept-July)
£25 for 50 min session per child
(£86 per calendar month*)

📌 A free 20 minute consultation is offered to new families

📌 All sessions need to be paid for monthly in advance

* All Group Sessions are payable in advance in equal monthly instalments.
£25 per session multiplied by 38 sessions in a school year (excluding school holidays and half terms) = £950 per year divided by 11 months Sep-July = £86 per calendar month

** Year 6 Group Sessions run from September until May. 29 sessions at £25 = £725 divided by 9 months = £80 per calendar month.

We practised short and long multiplication, short and long division, wordy problems (SATs exam style reasoning questions), percentages/fractions/decimals conversion, algebra.

Watched Godzilla x Kong in Addlestone cinema last week. Ollie loved it, I found it a bit scary 😂

Trip to Windsor Castle 😊 Sun was shining and dinner in one of local Thai restaurants was delicious 😋

My radishes are growing nicely. Let's hope they don't die due to lack of sun in my garden as it's shady most of the day. We'll see...

Me: You'd find it boring and tiring... 5 hours of maths might be too much!

A: No, it's not boring, it's hard work but it's fun too!

What a compliment from an 11 years old 🙂 I loved it!
