South Downs 25k ✅️⛰️💪

A truly brutal morning out on the hills which took absolutely everything out of me to get through it😅

Had no time time goal heading into the race as was very much unknown territory. But delighted with my 2.41.28 finish 🙏

Thanks to all who donated and supported in the build up to race day!

From just running up a few hills I am delighted that i have managed to raise over £1000 for Combat Stress who are providing life changing support for serving and forces veterans 🙌

2025/26 ✅️

The end of yet another incredible year with incredible people.

In my 7th year as Director of Drama, the end of this year marks the end of an era for the Y13 students who have been with me from the start. They were the first Junior Show cast for 'Matilda Jr' and have stuck with me ever since!

They are the greatest bunch of individuals you will meet and together, they are an absolute force. Their passion, dedication and love for Drama has been limitless.

They truly have paved the way and have been fantastic role models for others. They are well and truly, unashamedly themselves and I'm so proud of the human beings they have become.

You guys are one in a million and I feel so privileged to have played a small part in your Gordon's Journey ✨️

Have the best Summer and I can't wait to get going again in September 💪

ESU Performing Shakespeare 🎭

Could not be prouder of Jess H today who competed as 1 of 12 students across the country in the National Final at Shakespeare's Globe.

What an incredible day watching Jess represent Gordon's Drama on the National stage. She was perfect. She performed with confidence, poise and although she did not win, she was certainly my winner 🏆

Well done Jess H. An absolute credit to the school 👏

ESU PERFORMING SHAKESPEARE......NATIONAL FINALIST!! 🎉

Huge well done to Jess who won the Regional Final of the ESU Performing Shakespeare Competition consisting of schools from across the South East.

Jess will now compete as one of ONLY 12 students at the NATIONAL FINAL which will take place at the Globe Theatre, London 🎭

Congratulations also to Jane and Lucia who were outstanding in the Regional Final, but unfortunately only one piece could go through.

Bring on the NATIONAL FINAL...!🏆

In yet another quite unbelievable record breaking year, NINE (Yes, NINE!!) of our students received an offer from the National Youth Theatre after a successful audition 👏

Nationally, there are over 7000 auditions a year, with around only 8% of those successful in gaining a place.

This year, 10 of our students auditioned.....a 90% success rate!! 🤯

Huge credit to the students in their dedication and preparation for the auditions. So proud.
